Does anyone have any experience with hiring a virtual assistant to handle your customer service and emails for Amazon/eBay? I am to the point where I am getting 60+ emails daily that need to be attended to which I would be more than happy to pay someone overseas to handle for me.
The problem I see is them being able to access my accounts on Amazon and eBay...any input is appreciated!

Re: Hire a Virtual Assistant for Customer Service?
I use one for my large e-commerce sites (works Great). As far as multiple ebay accounts, they gotta be careful with IP/addresses linking accounts etc etc. It's hard to take the chance unless you filter all the customer service emails to one location.
Another tip is to try an bundle all the FAQs an list them to reduce the same questions. I'm sure you've already done that.
Re: Hire a Virtual Assistant for Customer Service?
I agree with the last poster, putting so much effort into making and building accounts, I'd be very careful in selecting someone to run the accounts, it only takes ONE mistake to lose a very good account, do you want to trust someone who you dont personally know and/or that is minimum wage?
Re: Hire a Virtual Assistant for Customer Service?
The first thought that came into my head was the issue with linking. They would not be given access to the accounts. Anything that requires accessing the account would be forwarded to me and I would take care of it such as claims or refunds. With Amazon, they can simply reply to emails through GMAIL so that isn't much of an issue but with eBay, replying through email is tricky and risky.
Its possible that I could use a service such as Reply Manager so that all accounts messages come to 1 location and they respond and manage things through there...
Anyone heard of ASKSUNDAY.com? Apparently its popular and has won some awards.
Re: Hire a Virtual Assistant for Customer Service?
Not a good idea to do in my opinion.
- That person have to understand the basic of stealth
- It will kill you with one of that person mistake
- You may have another competitor that run your account at the same time
- Never hire an Aspkin forum member to do that job
