return issue with buyer My two questions: Can A buyer simpley put 'return to sender' on a package and have it shipped back USPS with no additional postage?
Doesn't ebay require proof of return to force a refund?.
Is his 'bogus address' claim gonna cause me an issue?
Can he know issue a negative? Back story:
Sold an item, size x (1 of 2 possible sizes, well know for this product). Buyer emails says he screwed up, ordered wrong size. I email return instructions to my real address. He follows up weeks later, says where is the refund. I say I haven't got did you follow the return instructions. He says No, I wrote 'Return to send" on the box and dropped it off with USPS after it was opened.
He then opens dispute, says 'not as described". I say get me the item, I will refund. Don't hear from today, he elevates the dispute to ebay and says my address is bogus and ebay instantly issues a refund with no proof he returned it.
