Non paying bidder help?

Hi all, I know this is a little off topic but I'm struggling as to what to do. I sold an item on Sunday for a largish amount (furniture). The buyer sent me a contact number and said his delivery driver would pick up this week and pay.

It says in my listing payment must be made within 48 hours of auction end and that we are open Monday to Friday 9-5. I rang to ask if he could pay before hand, and what day the driver will be collecting.

To be met with "I'll call you back". I've had this 4 times now, and no call back every time. He's a seller too with a registered business address. And is just messing me around constantly. Isn't answering my phone calls.

No idea if he actually wants the item anymore or not. What should I do? :/

1. Send them a request to cancel transaction so you can get your ebay seller fees back.
2. Put an unpaid item strike against them but this doesn't prevent them from leaving you negative feedback.

Open a Non Paying Bidder claim - the buyer seems flaky.

I wouldnt send a cancel transaction - if he says no, you will be screwed on fees

Send one last email saying that if no response by a certain time, you are filing an unpaid item or he can agree to mutual cancellation of the sale....

Block when resolved.

Just to update! I won! I sent the buyer a notice of intended summons! He turned up the next day with cash lol!

He's blocked mwahahahaha. What's weird though, is he called me 3 hours later to tell me how much he loves the item.......
Maybe he's just a creep. Haha

I have had the same repeat buyer 3 times in the past months. Every time I have had to open unpaid item case. Then they pay ,I ship. Who care's? The money is all good.

Can you please share how many days which you waited to open that case?

You can open a case after 48 hours in the UK
