The unlucky part is if you open a case against a buyer and then they decide to pay and you left with sticky situation...

Not quite, I haven't had that happen to that from me yet. It just closes the case, I ship the item and leave buyer positive feedback (as if u had a choice) and then just let it be. Bad things could happen though.
I do set my preferences, and I wish I could make them stricter. I sure most people on the forum realize most unpaid item cases are usually against a new buyer with (0) feedback, and even some below (10) feedback. If it was up to me, I would want at least 10 and no unpaid item cases within the last 6 months. I think the range that EB allows us to set as a preference is BS and doesnt help very much.
I get unpaid buyers one on ten auctions...I use ebay assistant. It's better for some reason. They pay after a while, but a few don't.
The new one I'm getting is echecks that take more time. Then PP emails me that the echeck failed. The ebay assistant won't turn on automatically with echeck failures!
I wonder how these jerks fail a bank transfer without a bank charging them for reversing the payment. I guess the the bank acct is bone empty?
Hello everyone im new to this, hope someone can help me out here.
is it possible to get your eBay account restricted or limited if I open too many unpaid buyer cases in a short period of time ?
Whoa Nelly..............if this is a stealth account and you are trying to build it into a good account then just buy junk and if it never shows up, write it off. And be ready to sell some low-dollar junk that you can take a hit on. Once the account is strong then you can be tougher on things.
