Business account gets reduced limits: any solutions?

I need help its my livelyhood on the line. I got this limit put on place on my good business ebay account high DSR and high rating. I am not sure if I should wait and call 3 months down the road or give them a call now. I was doing 3000/22k was my last two months limit. The account that was linked was to another account restricted indefinitely.

"Based on your account information and activity, it looks like user ID is associated with your account. This usually indicates that both accounts belong to the same person.

Because the other account is restricted or otherwise not meeting minimum seller standards, we've changed the amount you can list on eBay.

You can now sell up to 70 items or up to $3,000.00 per month, whichever comes first. After 90 days, we'll reassess your account and may increase your limits based on your selling performance. You can also increase your limits sooner by resolving any open issues with the associated account. We've already sent instructions for resolving these issues to the email address registered to that account.

If you currently have more items (active items for sale and sold items) this month than your limits allow, you should reduce the number of listings you have on the site. Any listings that place you over your current limits may be automatically removed."



I am not sure what to do at this point. Should I start making new stealth accounts. Although i need to use my paypal biz account which is the 70/3000$ account due to accounting purpose.

We're writing to let you know that even though your selling performance has improved under the US seller performance standards program, it still has not met our standards; therefore, your selling account has been restricted. If you had any active listings prior to your restriction, they have been removed and your selling fees will be credited. If you recently sold an item they can be found in the sold section of your My eBay.

You can still get your messages in My eBay, and of course, complete any outstanding transactions with your buyers, but you won't be able to list any more items. This action doesn't affect your buying account. While this account is restricted, you're not permitted to sell on any other of your existing accounts.

what is the best move and option.

ACCOUNT #2 GOT RESTRICTED INDEFINITELY.

Do the DSRs and bad ratings fall off. Will I be able to sell once the DSR and feedback fall off? Will they allow me to sell again even though it got restricted indefinitely for low DSRs. Thanks

I am sorry that this has happened but in all honesty if it really is your livelyhood why the hell have you not got a load of accounts and spread the risk? You cannot run a business on just one eBay account, it's impossible and you're potentially asking for trouble.

I had a 12 year old account go down for 1 too low DSR back in October and it's still dead (and I'm sure will stay dead), even though they have made it a TRS while it's been restricted....I hate to rain on you, but you might as well kiss that restricted account goodbye....make many accounts and spread sales.

Yep spread sales out over as many accounts as you can manage the only way to make a living on ebay

tough to see this happen, but it does happen and honestly its for the best.

you need to learn stealth and spread sales. Anyone can get taken out on ebay for any reason.... linking competition human error human illness nasty buyer etc.

you will need to start side stealths and most likely your account still alive will be under scrutiny.

when an account is shut down, rarely does it ever come back and even if it did you wouldnt want to use it anyways.

if your livelihood does depend on ebay, you need to learn the system and come back alot more stronger and smarter in the future.

Get working on having tons of accounts up and running and growing.

Never allow your income to be stopped like this again.

Positive thing is you can get going and having income coming in by having multiple accounts and spreading sales over all of them.

Drop the account and find something els to do. Buy a strong account off here, make stealth, spread out sales and abandon accounting, stay under the radar and spread sells. You gotta go hard core. Adapt and live the best you can in this chaotic world of ebay and online sales or go down with the ship. Harsh advice but if your lively hood is at stake, do what must be done and do it well and fearlessly no matter what it takes. Ebay will never let you go now. They could couldn't care less about your business. They wouldn't even care if you were alive or dead or if they ruin your life or the lives of anyone els. You are dealing with pure evil. Do what you gotta do.

$250 if I remember right should buy you a fairly decent account. This would be the best route than starting fresh because you will be limited. Makes stealth while using this account.

P.s spring seller update is B.s time 10. My power seller top rated account with 47 thousand in sells social verified is now gonna be wiped by ebay if I don't find a way to sell hundreds of small items to up my percentages.

Ebay and there ******* ways. Encouraging buyers to open up cases for small issues when it hurts our account big time. What ass wipes. Then counting all the cases that were opened, before the rule was even in place, against us. What a joke. I had people open up cases to process returns. Alot of people did. Now all of us are going to be banned. Or alot of us. Someone needs to do something horrible to ebay. I don't care what. If someone wants to go right ahead lol. Like a day where all the sellers sell an item on ebay on one of their many stealth accounts worth $1000 and never send it. And let the account die. And then get a 100 thousand to a million people to do this one day a year in protest. Ebay will pay out of pocket and it would hurt them tremendously. Or even just $200 and have millions do this. Anything. Show them we have power. Show them they are B*LL SH*T.
