So I log into one of my stealths this morning, only to notice this ugly neutral feedback lingering with the comment "Shipping how much?" like it was questioning what I charge for shipping. The douchebag hadn't even paid for the item. He wanted it shipped to Israel (BTW, I hate shipping to Israel because it always seems like a problem occurs).
So I open an unpaid item case against him and the feedback mysteriously disappears. Nonetheless, both problems were solved!
So whenever a buyer doesn't pay and you close the case without them replying, ANY feedback will be removed automatically and it'll prevent them from leaving any feedback on that transaction.
Same goes to a buyer who is new and is suspended, all his feedbacks will be deleted.

Now in this case, I hadn't closed an Unpaid Item Case. I had just opened it up, then the feedback disappeared. Is that what you meant, or did mine do something different? In you above statement, I am reading it as you have to close the case before feedback gets removed.
THe case being closed is a sure fire thing, especially when it's the buyer who opened the case =)
BUt yes, I have seen also the feedback for auto removed the moment you opened the case. But I'm sure that you still need to close it so that the buyer can't leave you another feedback
