There are some things on this forum so people FORBID to ever do, others have no problem "trying" to call ebay. I have done so with luck and restriction in the past but I NEED as much listings as possible. Im coming up to my 1 month mark on 4 of my new accounts.

By the way if a account gets MC999 they CANT get a auto increase due to a manual person removing the original MC999??? Never really useful to know.

By the way if we did make a separate category to list selling patterns. Put it this way, just because its not understood doesn't mean there isn't a method! This is like the holy grail for this site. If could figure that out..keep it secret, ALL who knew it benefit 10 fold. Its worth at least talking about...

eBays methods change on a weekly/daily basis.

Concentrate on selling to your limits and getting good DSR, good feedback and having low defects and the limits will increase on their own.

@hustler_nyc

You mentioned you had no luck when you called ebay to increase your limits. Not 100% how it works in the US, but in the UK I have never been refused an increase of limits so long as everything was tick-tock.

Also if your reaching your limits on all four accounts, just go ahead and open another four more. No harm at all. Just follow the stealth protocol.

Well I'm sure everyone here would agree if you live in US and call Ebay..if its overseas they're BAD for stealth help, if its someone in the US that you talk to its usually a different story. Whenever I call its someone from overseas (90% of the time).

Does anyone know the highest limit(s) you can get for a ebay account? The highest I have got was 150 for listings (I know thats not a lot). I know of 1250 but can stealths get 5000 listings/unlimited per account? If so how long did it take you? ..Very interested.

Note: I sell things that AREN'T VERO so I foresee myself being able to sustain accounts without suspensions. I feel like after that 6 month mark..as long as its not VERO and you don't slip up on your customer service, you shouldn't be limited.

Account do not just get limited from Vero issues. Often the account issues stem from poor customer service resulting in low DSR and high defects.

eBay feel differently.

No limit accounts simply do not exist other than for big box sellers.

There is no solid upper limit, but it will never be totally unlimited.

I dont think there is a limit. So long as your hitting the limit and excelling in terms of service you will get a raise (or maybe not if you waiting around for an auto-increase). But I doubt there is a numerical value that says you cannot sell more than this on ebay, never heard of such.

The biggest increases I have received have been on accounts that I may have or have not sold one low risk low cost item, no more than $5.00, and than just let the account sit for 6-8 weeks

Many times I'd list my first item and get an increase sometimes straight to 100/10000, with no feedback and no sales, and I still get the email saying we have noticed you been selling well blah blah blah....

On one account a year ago I made the account sold nothing, 6 weeks after limits raised to 100/10000 with the first listing

And than two weeks later with a feedback of 6 I jumped to 300/30,000 a month and in just 2 months PayPal holds were lifted, the fastest ever for PayPal holds to lift for me, I always need to wait at least 90 days

I've been on ebay for 16 years, and I sure have not seen or figured a pattern...However, I agree with shark, my biggest increases have some on accounts that I sold a couple of items and then let them sit for 4 or 5 weeks...

At the moment I'm not at the liberty to wait. I'm playing stealth smart but hey if I get a account limited I only learn from it (what to/not to list). The whole list a item wait 4-5 weeks is a future plan of mine after the holidays. I have about 7 accounts so stacking more seems like the way to go. It would be nice in the future to have like 5 top seller accounts and the rest just backups but I guess only ebay/time will tell.

100/1000 isn't exactly the limit increase I'm shoot for.. I'd like the 500+. Although 100/1000 clearly adds up with lots of stealths in rotation.

Starting stealth is like climbing a mountain very slowly all the while knowing whats EXACTLY on the other side.

I have not sold VERO so I can't attest to the troubles people have on here but I strongly feel after 6 months as long as customer service is on point and your not selling crazy amounts of items on any given account there should be NO reason for a limitation. Unless you have a misstep stealth wise.

Stealth does take time.

If you rush into it you will just loose a lot of accounts, time and then have to start again.
