Default Question about new account

Hi. If I created a new account with the 0/0 restriction ..called and got my limits back 10/1000 and listed a item, within a hour it posted. Is this a good sign for the account?? It takes 12 hours almost to the dot on all my other stealths.

What did you say when you called?
When I called, they always say, we cannot find you in our real world data

If you don't get MC999 within the 2-3hrs, you're most likely safe.

I mean aged accounts usually have it update "active" almost instantly ..thats what happened with this. I just thought it was strange. I wasn't worried about a mc999..

You just say you moved and your address is new. You only rent and don't own any property. The last place you lived was UNDER 6 months. You got to be smooth though...haha. It works every time with me.

Interesting approach but yes, agent does make a big difference

I refuse to talk on anyone that is not n the U.S. I ask them flat out, "are you in the U.S." and if they say no, I just hang up and dial again.

I'll remember that technique if I'm ever on the phone with them and get in a corner.

Thats good advice OP for the 0/0 accounts. I usually just scrap them or something. As MM said, if it goes 2-3 hours without an MC999 on the first listing then you should be good. Most of my MC999s occur within 30 minutes of the first listing.

The only way I get past 0/0 if I use someones name and address in my zip code (or whatever zip code). It's almost like a pre scan on there database to just sign up. Thats what I've found so I had to figure out a way.

Oh I forgot a important piece you have to LINK your PAYPAL. I got by it without doing so but you usually have to call back or it just adds to more time wasted on the phone. I try to get as much out of each agent when I talk (the nice ones at least) ..just for the future if I call in.

-They said database updates usually once you lived at a place longer than 6 months
-Apart of their knew security policy they will/are requiring for new accounts to be linked with paypal (so you mid as well ...might down the line get a mc999, just saying)

Those were the most important to share.

When I'm talking about the mc999 too, I'm talking about their computers doing checks for this not manual reviews. Big difference

Be prepared with addresses and the one "you previously lived at" ..if you "can't remember" any they ask like age, anything like that your screwed. You really have to be good off the top or have pre generic responses. They do document this stuff too I think (I hear them typing when I respond). Which kinda sucks because most of them I was just responding off the top, so I can't remember "my date of birth" ..things like that they may ask down the line.

I just opened a stealth account a week ago and had to go through verification to increase limit from 0/0..If the name on the account was not my wife's name, I would have failed. They asked too many intimate questions to pass unless you really know the persons life...
