Bank account: e-saving account ...question (UK)

I have got an e-saving account. I just notice that there is an option for you to change your account name. So I like to ask you guys about this.

Now account name is my name. The bank set it since the beginning. Can I change account name to be others??? isnt it illegal or it does not matter? (I know it does not matter for paypal because they will not be able to view our names on the account.)

It doesn't matter, you don't need to do it.

dont change the name on your bank account to a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name it is illegal. Your right in saying that paypal will not be able to see your name and add. So it will be fine.

There is one slight concern though. I recently read on this forum that someone else used a e savers account for paypal. They done the penny diposits and everything was fine. Then they got an email from paypal saying that the direct debit has been rejected. Just make sure that your account supports direct debits and you should be fine.
