Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts

Last few weeks Ive tried different things to get past the 0/00 Limits on new accounts and cannot.
My steps to opening an account are, new email, new address, new phone #(used to use google voice, so have tried others), new windows, new vcc,new ip, first listing is something used from home..
Is there something im missing??
Ive opened stealths for years and have never had this problem :/
HELP?!!

stealth book can't answer the 0/0 problem.

Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts

The 0/0 appears to be random. Create a number of accounts in one day. Some will get 0/0, some should 10/1000. After you create your account, do not try to sell something. I know this is the page they send you to, but dont. Click on something, anything else. Then go to the "My eBay" and click "Selling". Check out your seller limits there.

If it says 0/0, I do not call. It is scrap for the most part. If it says 10/1000, then do not list anything. Do some browsing around eBay as if you was new. More than likely, when you list the first item you will get the new MC999. This is no big deal. Call in and answer the questions. If they take you to the database, then hang up and call again. Rinse and repeat.

Do not get discouraged by an MC999. They are doing it to just about every first listing that gets posted.

The 0/0 has nothing to do with the phone number you use. Some phone number providers are forbidden by EB, but not all that are mentioned on the forum are correct. A lot of ppl are posting facts that are not facts at all. Some ppl do not accept that this is random when there is no explanation.

The 0/0 are not a result of mismatch information. The information you use does not have to be someone's real info. You can use Joe Blow with the address of the corner gas station. It works (unless it has already been used).

If you try to create multiple stealths in one sitting, you will see that you will not get 100% 0/0s. In fact, in my experience, most are not 0/0s. But if you are just creating a stealth here and there, then odds are you will get 0/0s often.

This is based on my experience, not anyone else's. These are not facts. These are just my theories after making lots of accounts.

Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts

I just created by first account a week ago and got the same 0/0 when I tried to list my first product..

When I called Ebay to find out why I am 0/0, they stated that they needed to do verification even though all my info was legit. Fortunately, I used my wife's name as my stealth otherwise, i would never had passed the 4 questions.
They wanted to make sure that the name on the account is legit....They asked about last address I lived at , even mentioned my mother in laws current address (remember I am my wife)...Again, I would have never have passed the test even if I had used a friends info because the questions where too intimate... if you used a random name you will not pass!!! Because they will not be able to match the name with a known address (that was the first Question)....It was scary but I passed and got 100/$5000...
Hope this helps.

Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts

You guys do it all wrong.

Heres a step by step that works 100% if you do it right.

-open a paypal account w/ vba or REAL bank (vcc recommended not needed)
-wait at day (not needed, I do it though)
-open personal ebay account
-LINK PAYPAL *****
-sell a notebook or something similar
-when you get 0/0 call immediately

NOW your on hold waiting right? What you need is a previous address you "lived at". You need your "DOB". You only lived at your current address less than two weeks. Your last address was only about 4-5 months and you only have lived in apartments for the past few years. NOW you have to stress to whomever your talking off the jump that you just moved and your looking to sell like photography or books.

You have to do it your own way and make it smooth. If you for one can't be the person you made up then calling in will ALWAYS be useless. If you call at the right time it takes 10 minutes max and your account is back. Your limits can vary from this method 5/500 to 25/1250. I have done this back to back 5 times and its worked every time.

Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts

I've learned the hard way as I can't remember my DOB and old ADDRESSES on some of the accounts. I'm almost certain they document what you say so make sure you document what you say too!

On hold now.. Hopefully It works

Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts

You have to stress it off the jump. Its has to sound natural. You almost have to convince your self what your saying is the truth. Because if you think about it ..there is NO reason to not give someone 10/1000 if they just moved and are young ... Not everybody shows up in the database (some people pay to be removed).

Its also pretty easy to tell if someone is lying or pretending when you can't answer a simple question like it was you.

Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts

Also say you have your paypal account linked which has your BANK ACCOUNT attached (right?). Make it seem like your just a normal person looking to sell and aren't showing up in (THERE) system. All I can say with that..

It works done right.

Five out of five times is NOT enough to start handing out that as a method to beat 0/0 limits.

Needs a lot more evidence than that.

Keep in mind you are suggesting this to users who may not have the verbal skills to deal with ebay.

Well if thats the case the number 1 rule is have the verbal skills to even call ebay in the first place!!!

I feel like it works and has no reason not to. Like any thing nothing works 100% of the time. Someone can be having a bad day, something is linked for whatever reason....but its a method that works. You can take it with a grain of salt if you want to. Its just my opinion at the end of the day like yours.
