| | | Iwuvcurrency | 10-11-2014 11:47 PM | Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts Last few weeks Ive tried different things to get past the 0/00 Limits on new accounts and cannot.
My steps to opening an account are, new email, new address, new phone #(used to use google voice, so have tried others), new windows, new vcc,new ip, first listing is something used from home..
Is there something im missing??
Ive opened stealths for years and have never had this problem :/
HELP?!! |

| bjammin | 10-12-2014 04:22 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts The 0/0 appears to be random. Create a number of accounts in one day. Some will get 0/0, some should 10/1000. After you create your account, do not try to sell something. I know this is the page they send you to, but dont. Click on something, anything else. Then go to the "My eBay" and click "Selling". Check out your seller limits there.
If it says 0/0, I do not call. It is scrap for the most part. If it says 10/1000, then do not list anything. Do some browsing around eBay as if you was new. More than likely, when you list the first item you will get the new MC999. This is no big deal. Call in and answer the questions. If they take you to the database, then hang up and call again. Rinse and repeat.
Do not get discouraged by an MC999. They are doing it to just about every first listing that gets posted.
The 0/0 has nothing to do with the phone number you use. Some phone number providers are forbidden by EB, but not all that are mentioned on the forum are correct. A lot of ppl are posting facts that are not facts at all. Some ppl do not accept that this is random when there is no explanation.
The 0/0 are not a result of mismatch information. The information you use does not have to be someone's real info. You can use Joe Blow with the address of the corner gas station. It works (unless it has already been used).
If you try to create multiple stealths in one sitting, you will see that you will not get 100% 0/0s. In fact, in my experience, most are not 0/0s. But if you are just creating a stealth here and there, then odds are you will get 0/0s often.
This is based on my experience, not anyone else's. These are not facts. These are just my theories after making lots of accounts. |

| Timbuktu | 10-12-2014 04:56 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts I just created by first account a week ago and got the same 0/0 when I tried to list my first product..
When I called Ebay to find out why I am 0/0, they stated that they needed to do verification even though all my info was legit. Fortunately, I used my wife's name as my stealth otherwise, i would never had passed the 4 questions.
They wanted to make sure that the name on the account is legit....They asked about last address I lived at , even mentioned my mother in laws current address (remember I am my wife)...Again, I would have never have passed the test even if I had used a friends info because the questions where too intimate... if you used a random name you will not pass!!! Because they will not be able to match the name with a known address (that was the first Question)....It was scary but I passed and got 100/$5000...
Hope this helps. |

| solefoodbk | 10-12-2014 05:35 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts You guys do it all wrong.
Heres a step by step that works 100% if you do it right.
-open a paypal account w/ vba or REAL bank (vcc recommended not needed)
-wait at day (not needed, I do it though)
-open personal ebay account
-LINK PAYPAL *****
-sell a notebook or something similar
-when you get 0/0 call immediately
NOW your on hold waiting right? What you need is a previous address you "lived at". You need your "DOB". You only lived at your current address less than two weeks. Your last address was only about 4-5 months and you only have lived in apartments for the past few years. NOW you have to stress to whomever your talking off the jump that you just moved and your looking to sell like photography or books.
You have to do it your own way and make it smooth. If you for one can't be the person you made up then calling in will ALWAYS be useless. If you call at the right time it takes 10 minutes max and your account is back. Your limits can vary from this method 5/500 to 25/1250. I have done this back to back 5 times and its worked every time. |
| solefoodbk | 10-12-2014 05:37 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts I've learned the hard way as I can't remember my DOB and old ADDRESSES on some of the accounts. I'm almost certain they document what you say so make sure you document what you say too! |
| Iwuvcurrency | 10-12-2014 05:45 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts Ive made 4 accounts this weekend.. All four ended with 0/00, Everytime I called, it ended with your info is not coming up in our real world data, I tried the I just moved here, didn't work. :/ |
| solefoodbk | 10-12-2014 05:57 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts Its worked for me every time I do it. |
| Iwuvcurrency | 10-12-2014 05:59 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts On hold now.. Hopefully It works |
| solefoodbk | 10-12-2014 06:02 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts You have to stress it off the jump. Its has to sound natural. You almost have to convince your self what your saying is the truth. Because if you think about it ..there is NO reason to not give someone 10/1000 if they just moved and are young ... Not everybody shows up in the database (some people pay to be removed).
Its also pretty easy to tell if someone is lying or pretending when you can't answer a simple question like it was you. |
| solefoodbk | 10-12-2014 06:04 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts Also say you have your paypal account linked which has your BANK ACCOUNT attached (right?). Make it seem like your just a normal person looking to sell and aren't showing up in (THERE) system. All I can say with that..
It works done right. |

Needs a lot more evidence than that.
Keep in mind you are suggesting this to users who may not have the verbal skills to deal with ebay.

:ranger: | Well if thats the case the number 1 rule is have the verbal skills to even call ebay in the first place!!!
I feel like it works and has no reason not to. Like any thing nothing works 100% of the time. Someone can be having a bad day, something is linked for whatever reason....but its a method that works. You can take it with a grain of salt if you want to. Its just my opinion at the end of the day like yours. |

:) | OK. Better advice would be now do whatever you just did again :). Simple as that. Hopefully it was your method not just the rep. |
| Rambo3 | 10-12-2014 07:49 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts It is too soon to be claiming constant methods.
Just as i was going to give up on an account i got the 10/100 WITHOUT PR'S
So, try and experiment with what works for you.
See if you can stick to something and how well it goes..
For now.. we can say it is random |
| imthatguy | 10-12-2014 07:54 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts ^^ I agree |
| solefoodbk | 10-12-2014 07:58 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts hahah YES! Just called and got again a american. I don't know if its random who you get or not but I'm starting to get more americans depending when I call. Just got 25/1250 off that method. |
| solefoodbk | 10-12-2014 08:00 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts Its your opinion! How does what you say have any more validation than mine? If its because you have been here longer thats fine. Its worked every single time for me. Sounds silly to say its random if it hasn't failed me yet. |
| solefoodbk | 10-12-2014 08:03 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts I also have a good sense of humor and can talk well with people which helps a lot as said before you have to have the verbal skills to even have a chance to get limits increased. Not much more complicated than that. I started out horrible because I'd stumble over my words and just didn't know exactly what to expect.
I feel confident because I have called them enough to know what they will ask. That is huge! This is only for starting a account otherwise I NEVER call unless I have too. But if you have a new account and add your paypal with it (meaning you spent money on a VBA, VCC or REAL bank) and don't want to throw your paypal that was connected to your ebay then you will want to call in like me.
You can get it removed. Try what works for you then repeat. Alter the method depending the circumstance. |

The issues of limits is going to have many variables.
That has been proven for a long long time.
Not one specific method is fool-proof or fail-safe.
Agree to disagree without enforcing your will on everyone.

| solefoodbk | 10-12-2014 08:05 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts Plus in time I will have to change what I SAY because it will be overused. Its all about using your methods then adapting it with ebay. |
| solefoodbk | 10-12-2014 08:06 PM | Re: Cant Get past the 0/00 on new accounts I didn't enforce it on anyone. I said take my opinion with a grain of salt if you want. Its my opinion. I know nothing is 100% bullet proof, I agree. My point is get your method and repeat. YOU CAN GET LIMITS is the main point people need to know. Its not a dead account once you get 0/0 |

Supposedly the 25/1250 from calling in will no see more increases. The 10/1000 however should still get increases. I am not saying this is concrete, just saying it has been mentioned.
The OP is hyped that their accounts have been successful after getting a 0/0. OP, I am happy that your methods are working for you, and you should def stick to it until it doesn't work. Why should you try anything else until it stops working? I know that I would not stop beating that horse until it died.
Out of the hundreds of accounts I have made though, it has been random for me. This goes from VOIP, real cell phones, and burner phones. Creating accounts diff days of the week and diff times of the day. I do not know enough ppl to get real DOB and addresses. And I know that it doesn't have to be real info to not get 0/0. I have been successful with bogus names and real addresses too many times.
I do know that calling in on a 0/0 will get you databased. It has happened to me 100% when calling in. So, I stopped calling in on 0/0. |
