Does eBay require paypal linking account for a new registration?

Does eBay require linking new account to paypal for US sellers and NON US sellers to sell?
Anything changed? or just a new credit card?

Well in the UK you must have a ** Verified ** paypal account linked to ebay, to list items

am sure its the same for US

No, I just opened 2 new seller accounts tonight without paypal link.

Opening a Seller account and actually selling on it are 2 different things....

Yes, I was selling about 20 items on them right away. I sell VERO, so I burn through them fast, but they usually take about 8 vero violation to get the boot.
