Activity: 0% Longevity: 57% | | Running Multiple Stealths from VMWARE - New Laptop idea's?
Hey everyone,
Thought this would be a great place to get some up to date recommendations of the best laptop you are able to buy for around £500 ish mark.
Currently laptop actually has to have a table fan put next to it to stop it overheating and cutting out when using VMware player so obviously requirement is not to do that.
Currently laptop has 4gb ram, i5, independent graphics but simply can't handle the load of VMware/ Multiple VMware's open. Have made windows xp on vmware as stripped as possible but still to no avail.
Any recommendations of laptops for running multiple stealths?
Cheers guys!

Look at Asus i7 laptops.
They have some really well priced with very decent spec about at the moment.
Mine is running an i7 3537U, 8GB DDR3 RAM with a 1TB hard drive, only paid about £500 for it.

Hey Bud, it is this laptop by any chance (of course would find cheaper from online supplier); Buy ASUS Transformer Book TP550 15.6" Touchscreen 2 in 1 - Black | Free Delivery | Currys
Has i7, 8gb ram, and 1 tb hard drive and is touch screen also?
Cheers!

I use to do this on my very old machine.
I switch my router off and on again tho get a fresh new IP and in the mean time (1 minute roughly) I shut down the machine I was using and start the next one.
This way I do not waste one single second.
You have also the advantage not to risk to keep 2 or more session open and logged into eBay/PP at the same time... with the same ip!!!

1. completely different pc, no chance of accidentally logging into the wrong one.
2. use multiples dongles and normal wifi. Normal wifi = actual computer, each individual dongle stays plugged in and is associated with 1 vmware machine.
Therefore, i dont even have to wait for one minute.
3. As i have a Fresh IP and dongle for each vmware i can run up to 3 accounts at once. One on wifi, and two on each dongle. | The Following User Says Thank You to copley1 For This Useful Post: | |

I am not at that level of selling... I am fine with 2 stealths and a cup of coffee between one IP and the other.

Seems like this would be more expensive to run, no? Since each Dingle would need active monthly service. So instead of paying only say $79/month for one router. You now have to pay $50/month per dongle.

And in the UK we can get a dongle service for about $15 per month so its pretty cheap to even use multiple dongles.

Its my second laptop now Worked really well though
I upgraded to a new laptop with 16GB RAM, i7-4710HQ and most importantly a SSD hard drive
I find that for editing the SSD hard drive makes a world of difference when it comes to saving any files.
