Selling Apparel on Amazon
I have an interesting dilemma. I have an existing long term(established 2009) apparel account for selling on ebay. On this account I have around 3000 listings. Under this I have 60 variations(10 colors x 6 sizes) for each of the 3000 listings with a quantity of 99 of each. Doing the math that equals about 17.8 million items for about $356 million dollars worth of inventory, if we're looking at it from the "Seller Limits" perspective. For the sake of brand recognition I would like to split this account up into 3 different accounts so buyers can more easily identify our brands. Problem is I can barely start one account without hitting a limit. I went back this week and looked at other seller accounts I had from the same era 2009 that I had not used for a long time and all of those seemed to be under either a 10/100 or a 100/5000 limit.
Ebay support and limit department is no help at all....I call in on the main account and they basically tell me I can't apply my limits to another new account or even an existing one..How does that make any sense? They're worried about the new account overwhelming us? PSH...
As always, any help is appreciated....
