I currently have five stealth accounts. The oldest has a 100/$5,000 limit, one has 20/$2,500 limit and the other three have 10/$1,000 limits. I have not received an increase on any of these accounts in the past year which is frustrating as I sell to the limits. Hopeful I'll see increases in 2015.

My only accounts that have not had a limit increase to at least 90-9000 is the 100-10000 accounts I buy and then of course the 10-1000 I have yet to get around to using.
I have only been using stealth accounts(I don't consider EIN business accounts stealth) for a few months.

I haven't had an increase this month yet but was getting a lot of increases SEPT - November , I would just use my limits up by listing BIN not even selling and I had jumps from 100/5000 accounts to 420/20k and 490/30k and they were just 2 months old

It's so hard for me to justify burning a bank account on those 10/1000 accounts that might never get a raise, can't make enough money on those accounts to justify the bank account used for them, that's the only reason I sometimes consider buying accounts instead

I had some last month that did not, but I had non paying bidders on those so my normal method and timeline did not work anyways.

To withdraw your sales from those small accounts, but selling only $1000 or less a month is not worth it sometimes the use of a real bank account

How do you handle withdrawing to bank accounts? I'm guessing a bunch of your bank accounts come from all your LLCs right? A few of them from each, another reason to have LLC I guess

I don't normally need the money so after a month or two I will add an account if I can not spend it.
Also, I have other options that most people don't because of my very old ebay businesses.
Lets say I opened a new company today. I will open a checking accounts at three different banks the moment it is filled with the state. I open five business savings accounts per bank(they have rules and may not be for everyone). I always use at least one credit union, BofA/Chase/TD(some are having issues with mismatched names now, but I don't think on business accounts) and usually a small local bank when possible, but many don't allow mismatched anymore. SOMETIMES they can make an adjustment if you are popular with the bank and they have systems for such things.
Right there is 18 accounts. Takes 2-3 hours.
That being said, up until last week I have never withdrew from a stealth. Only a few have bank accounts attached. I just don't need to do it yet. After the first of the year I may withdraw. Not sure yet.

Awesome advice here!! Yeah using companies it's a great advantage in the bank accounts front, I've seen a few credit unions too where they are not strict on mismatched names so those are great too

Use a prepaid debit card , there are so many out there and new ones that come out all the time, I don't even apply for them anymore , have so many, every month now I get 1 or 2 just delivered to my door.
Just make sure you look at the fees, some are outrageous and charge $16 a month and nickel and dime you to death for every transaction
Prepaid cards are good to verify new accounts , use the search in the forum to see which to use and what banks are banned
Prepaid cards I'll use almost like a VBA, JUST To verify the account, and very few if any withdrawals, and than once the account ages and is ready to make money I'll add a real bank
All my suppliers are in the U.S. I USUALLY pick up all my inventory and during winter months may get things mailed, but all my suppliers accept paypal, and they know me personally , so the name and address doesn't matter I'll send the funds and either pick up or I'll ask to ship, so a lot of accounts I'll cash out on inventory

Thanks for you insight too Dmshark, yeah prepaid cards are another way to deal with it. I also has suppliers that accept PayPal, so you think paying from PayPal on those new accounts is fine and won't be an issue? As long as it's OK with my suppliers getting payment from different name of course

I thought those aren't reported in your credit report since they're really not a credit card, you are not borrowing anything from the bank, only using their services with your OWN deposited money? I might be wrong though

They can and usually are reported with no risk of a late payment. Not sure about prepaid debit card or what the exact difference is.
By-The-Way, how did you see the deleted post?

Yeah but having too many accounts opened recently on the credit report is not so good right, many hard checks on credit report?

That way you know what is being done.
'Hard' checks are more for loan applicatons. All activity is noted on credit scores. That at least allows you to know what is going on. |

Each hard inquiry is 1-2 points and fall off quickly(few months if you have high credit activity) Also, if you applied for ten at one time, they are bunched together and MIGHT be combined total 4-5 points total lower credit score.
