Activity: 0% Longevity: 66% | | eBay Limits Not Increasing!
Hi,
I've been lurking around the forums for quite a while now but never felt the need to post anything because of the wealth of information available on here.
But, I have a very frustrating problem...
So basically I currently run alot of eBay account and things are going pretty well. I was really excited when I woke up this morning because I was expecting to have increased limits on the majority of my accounts, but NOTHING!
one of the accounts is over 2 years old and the first sale was back in 2012. This was the first month I had sold to the limit (10 items) and was expecting a raise to at least 20 but I'm still at 10.
I've got some account which are less than 2 months old and have already reached 40 items without me even reaching the limits. But I was hoping to have reached at least 20 items on about 4/5 of my accounts but I logged in to find they've just been reset to 10.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thank You,
|
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

2 months is still quite early in an account's life period. To get an increase so early can happen but it is not a given that it will.
Just keep selling to your max limits, do not call eBay and if you need to sell more setup more accounts

Sadly there are accounts of mine that have kept selling to max and not received automatic increases in ages as well OP

A younger account of mine is outselling 5 of my other accounts and they're are all over a year old!
It's VERY frustrating!

Not sure about UK, but for a while in the USA, I could get limit increases in five days, then at 30 days. The past month, only small increases when I have to start ending items to adjust for more room. That seems to be the only trigger lately. Happens at 2AM every time.
I am experimenting with 90 day old 90-9000 accounts selling two-three times past limit on auctions. Let you know how that works out tomorrow.

Bit ambiguous. | Well they only had a 10/£650 limit to begin with and I sold 10 items in November and I now have the capacity to sell 10 items this month.

Does upgrading to a business account make any sort of difference to limits?
And for future reference, is it better to open a business account?
I've always assumed Business accounts require more documentation etc... So all of mine are Personal.

18 Months?!?!?!?!?
I'm thinking of just buying high limit accounts from now on.
It just seems like a waste of a bank account when I can't really use the eBay account to it's full potential.

I have many variations of my items, more than 10 and because each account is new they hardly have any feedback but Oh Well,
I guess I'm just going to have to scale this up BIG time. |
