Default Switching user accounts.

When I switch between different window user accounts, I'll sign out of the one that I am on, disconnect my internet, switch to the other user account, then shut off my computer all the way, re-plug in my internet, and start my computer back up.

I do this every time I switch between stealth accounts, do I have to shut off my computer all the way before I switch to another user account or can I just simply sign out and switch over?

I don't even sign out, as long as it's different user accounts all seemed well. Been doing this for over a year now.

I log out the user account and then log into the new one.

I do not like switching between user accounts as applications can still be running on the first open user account. I would rather take the extra 20 seconds and be careful and sure.

No need to shut the computer down all the way though

When I first started I had like 18 user accounts that I never logged out of , I would just switch from one to the other

I had no idea why my computer was running so slow and than eventually was freezing up as I added more user accounts

I finally thought to log out of each account and everything went back to normal, so now I always log out before logging into another user account, that way my computer doesn't slow down, I guess with them all running it uses a lot of memory

I also log out of the current acct then log in the next user acct. I grab a Fresh IP as well. I never shut down all the way for acct swapping.

I always turn off the modem, shut down, turn modem on, then log in to new account.

For some reason my modem has trouble re connecting if I don't shut the PC down.

I log off of one user completely then log in to the next user. Switch IP at that time and then check to make sure the IP is actually switched.

Well it depends who you ask, some advice against it.....but I've yet to have issues.

The advantage is the following:
1. Never having to switch between user accounts
2. Each Stealth Account has its own Firefox, thus keeping cookies separate

For example, I keep all my stealth Firefox Folders on my desktop where all I have to do is change IP's, and log into my account....then repeat the process without having to close all my other programs.

Interesting. How long does it take you to switch user accounts? I just timed mine and it took me 3 mins, 30 secs to switch from one user name to the next. That 3.5 mins seems like FOREVER!! I really need to get more efficient here...

Not counting the IP change....I can switch accounts in under 1 minute, So in reality, whoever long it takes you to close one folder, open another, open browser....that's how long it takes.
