1. This will NOT link the old and new accounts UNLESS you put in your real info (if you understand stealth well then you will see that you do not have to =)....

2. Seems to be true.

I always make sure to check the account fees and never go below what I owe in the pp account.
This could have been written by me - I agree 100% - it may be bad stealth tactics but I get the money in, pay the postage through Paypal, pay my Ebay fees and what's left I use to buy my stock and then the balance is mine and gets transferred to my vodka account

HWGA: Phenomenal information, much appreciated!

A couple of quick questions though: Is there a way to find out the exact date that eBay will attempt to collect your seller fees so that you are able to pay PRIOR to them attempting to collect?

Also, how soon ahead of time do you pay your fees? A day early? A week early?

Thank you!

I tried to list my first item on one of my new stelts and i got hit with the required automatic payment option.

So i can just use a vcc or gift card to do this? Seems to be true.

Also, rsot... does using a gift card as a bank account for withdrawing actually work. I was told that only a real bank acount can be used.

I pay my eBay fees about every week if not sooner.
You should be receiving a email from eBay stating that you have fees due.
Then in about a week or 2 eBay will attempt to charge the card you have on file with them, that is if you have a balance.

By the way.....
You can only make 1-2 payments a day before eBay will not let you pay them any more until the next day.

I used to pay them $5 about 15-20 times a day so they would have to pay the credit card company charge on the transaction.
But then a few years ago they put a limit on the number of payments you could send a day...
O-well - It was fun while it lasted.... LOL

What type of gift card did you try to use? The ones suggested here? Gift2Go?

NO they do not.

NEVER pay your eBay fees from your working Paypal account that accepts funds from your sales.
I have read this post.. just a question for you..

So I set up a new seller account, use a gift2go card as my credit card with my stealth name and address registered online to the card number, to verify my account with ebay. I use a prepaid phone to verify my number with them, also registered to my stealth name and address.

I list some stuff for sale with my new paypal stealth account, matching name and address.

Q: Since paypal requires me to have a CC on file with them, can I use the same gift2go credit card? The same one I will be using to pay my fees with (not automatically)

If that works, I start selling.

My ebay listings require to me put in a paypal email where my money will go to.

Q: Do I use the same paypal address? (1 Ebay account, 1 PP account, 1 credit card number?)

Q: Once I get payed for my listing sale, how do I get my money out of paypal since I dont want them having my bank info?

Q: If I go to one of my online stores and "buy" something from myself with the funds in my ebay pp account, thus sending the money to an unassociated account loaded with my real personal info (banking info for withdrawal) and they nail me on ebay for some reason, will my real-info PP account be compromised? Or would they use that to associate my accounts if I do it repeatedly?

Q:How else do you withdraw? /What is the best way to withdraw your money?

Q Do the G2G cards have an expiry date and 3 digit security code on the back like a real CC?

Thanks..

J

I dont think you need to get each account a card.

I have been paying all my accounts with the same card over and over and never gets linked. When you choose one time payment, ebay will ask you if you want them to remember this card to pay future fees, do not tick that and ebay will never get that full card number.

Credit card company will only show last or first 4 digits to ebay. Never had any accounts link this way

If this is true (which I am doubting you), this sure does simplify the whole system!

Thank you for your experience!

@Aspkin- What are your thoughts on this? Have you ever had this experience?

Is it true that they don't charge your Paypal account if you owe less than then 25$ at the end of the month? (assuming you signed up for fees to be automatically charged from Paypal )

I'm thinking what f1br3opt1c wrote, makes sense.
After all, if I'm a vendor, and I accept credit cards, that doesn't mean I'm entitled to see the credit card number of the buyer. I have no reason to. Visa or MC needs the full number, but I don't.

Can anyone else confirm what's being stated by f1br3opt1c ?

Fibreoptic,

Was any of your account a STEALTH ACCOUNT or suspended account? So are u saying you are using one c/card for all your ebay a/c's to pay for ebay fees? by the way, do they ask u for name and address when u r inserting u c/c number for fees payment?
