Opened new halifax easycash. How long should I wait before linking to paypal account?

Was wondering how long should i wait before i link my Halifax account to my Paypal account? Opened the account on Thursday.

No need to wait, have you got everything else organised like your ebay account if that is where you intend to use the paypal?, the relevant phone number that isn't linked in any way to any previous suspended accounts, do you have a Fresh IP setup?, new unlinked bank account, fresh ID details that you can verify with the right paperwork, VCC to confirm your details with the paypal like Entropay.

Yes there is a need to wait. 24 hours while it is setup on their system. Adding it straight away can lead to an error and it won't let you re add it

Yep you do need to wait. Even though you get your account number and sort code straight away. The system still needs time to set it up correctly. Otherwise it glitches and you wont be able to add it again unless you call paypal directly.

Alright Mate I'm just curious because I'm going to Halifax on Friday to open up an account with them if I can get this one straight away?? I have never banked with them before.... Or will they give me a current account first?? Can I tell them all I want is an Easycash account and there won't be any problems??

You can ask for a Easy Cash bank account, it is just a basic bank account that doesn't require extensive credit checks except you must be on the electoral roll.

But you wont get it straight away, they will mail it all to you in the post.
Just like every other normal bank lol..
