How common is a 5/500 account?

My last 2 accounts have been 5/500. Such a pain in the ass.

Very common and they get fast increases

I think at least half, if not more, fall into this category. Some DO get higher - sometimes much higher - limits. But how eBay decides, we don't know.

5/500 is pretty standard now...used to be 10/1000 but goddamn I havent gotten one of those in ages. I hate those 5/500. Everyone says they get quick increases but I have never seen an increase. Ship same day, sell to the max limits, etc....doesnt matter I never see increases.

Yeah, you CAN still get 10/1,000 and sometimes even higher limits, but I have no idea how this is decided.

If anyone knows what triggers high limits, feel free to share!

Yeah 5/500s are pretty much the new 10/1000s although you can still get both sometimes

I have 7 accounts that are 1000/25000....I am able to replicate that creation to an extent. Sometimes it works and other times I get 5/500. HOWEVER, I know the ONE difference that I do during the creation process that ends up resulting in a 5/500 account.

I had 2 accounts 500//25000 ...1 hour later they got suspended ..NO link, I did not even list anything..nothing
Just created it ...left it alone for 1 hour..suspended!!!
Any ideas?

I'd be happy to share how I get 25 and 50 item limits, but never gotten above that.

70% of all the new accounts I open up are 5/$500, 29% are 10/$1000, the remaining 1% are either 0/0 or 100/$5000.

There is a certain order I do things and certain things in general that are different than most people do. I end up with 100/25k limits if I follow those steps exactly. If I deviate, I get 5/500
