Best way to get feedback with 10,000 common Trading Cards?

I have a friend that was cleaning out his garage and found several containers full of trading cards, baseball, hockey, etc. Knowing that I sell on ebay he gave them to me for free.

I would like to convert these 10,000 + common cards to feedback across several stealth accounts I have to break the 100 mark.

What would the best way to list these so that they would actually sell and allow me to quickly build my feedbacks?

I have kind of a lose agreement that I will give him half of the money I get so it would be nice to make a few bucks but my main concern is the feedback and dsrs.

I would try and sell them in lots based on the sport and year. That way it should create many listings but still capture a good audience who may be looking to purchase a specific type of card. Also check for rookie cards or misprints that may be valuable.

yeah i bought cards before to gain feedback but problem is most people on ebay wont think to buy ball cards for feedback so unless the buyers are looking to buy the cards to collect then im sure alot of auctions will go unsold and alot of fees will stack up on your part.

What a find! The two suggestions by cardfelon and dbk are very good.
What you need to do is go through them as they suggested. Research them if necessary. You could come across some that are extra special. Resist the temptation to sell them on ebay at the moment. Extra special cards can bring many dollars.

These items can attract low-lifes who will attempt to scam you. Cover yourself really well with shipping.Full insurance with signed for delivery If you use paypal forget an unverified buyer.
Think about this carefully. Correctly done it could work well for you

wrong..thats how i use to build up all my ebay accounts..random sports cards,i always sold them ..all of them all the time..i stopped doing this recently because 2 of my accounts got suspended for 30 days for "feedback manipulation" which is stupid..because 1 i actually shipped all the cards out, and 2 ya i really was doing this for feedback..but they said i was selling digitial goods..i told em look into my feedback and see when buyers left me feedback..days after auctions end,but they didnt care,it was a matter of what they sell for..if i were to do this again..i would sell random lots at 1.00 or more..you wont sell that much..but ya im done building accounts like that

i said he was wrong when he said most people dont think about buying cards on ebay to build feedback,i thought it was obvious what i said,apparently not

when selling cards,people act like there buying a computer.believe it or not,people are so greedy and do not care,even tho i lost an avg of .50 an auction..they still complain and there only paying .01-.25..im still amazed at how people react over nothing,i probly got a few negatives from people calling me a scammer over .05 and cuz cards were "damaged"..i cant control a stupid white envelope when its in usps's hands..i swear,soo funny how people act..hah

I say no, but for a different reason. They won't sell, unless you are willing to start the lots at 1 penny with free shipping. When autographed cards, jersey cards and low numbered parallel cards don't sell for .99, commons definitely won't. If there was a 10,000 count box of sports cards in a friends garage, they are most likely from the mid to late 80's to the mid 95's which basically makes the cards use only for kindling.

I have been in the sports cards industry for the past 18 years, so it's not just a loose opinion.

thats how you sell common cards to build feedback..any other way to make money off random cheap cards aint gonna happen

Why not just sell ebooks? I still have 3 .01 1 day ebook auctions every day on every account and have never been suspended for it.

i sold sports cards to build accounts the last few months,started at .01..they always ended for .05-1.00..than one day 2 of my accounts got suspended for "feedback manipulation" for selling virtual goods..no matter what i said to ebay they did not care,i explained to them say look at my feedback..look at the timeframe when people left me feedback.it was never hours or even a couple days of buyers leaving feedback when an auction ended,they said i was selling virutal goods

but on my other accounts,ive never been hit with this,so i dont know if im going to bother with it anymore,i have other items to sell at 10-20 dollar range,i may just build accounts that way,oh well..doesnt matter since im done on ebay soon..finally moving into legitimate world

Here's a good way to build feedback:

Sell a great product, list it accurately, ship it quickly, and communicate well with your customers.

You do that 100 times, and you'll get 100 positive feedback!
