Most of the time within 30 days.

most of the time 20/$2,000 or 30/$3,000 or higher.

If you don't want those 5/$500 I'll give you $5 for each one!

Raises really depend on how you list. I can usually get a raise in 7 days or less. Always 30 days. Increases are often 20-2000, 30-3000, 50-5000, 90-8000, 180-9000

but most common are 30 and 50 with a variation of dollar amounts depending on how you list and what priced items.

Who gives a crap on what the starting point I. Really. Never understood it. You are suppose to take your time anyway and list slowly and gradually. So what would be a difference between 5/500 to 1000/25000.

I guess that 5/500 is as common in US as 10/650 is over here in the UK. I personally can't see a problem with minimum limit accounts. I can easily get most of the account to at least 60 item during first month, couple of weeks after that they either get bumped to 120 or 180, some go 270 within 8 week period.

You need to age them anyway to lose the 21 day hold, but by that time you should be looking at 200+ limit account anyway, if you sell well and fulfill orders and have happy customers.
Also, when you sell and build it organically the account itself will become more secure and strong in general.

People got items to move. Yeah not super fast but 500 is for selling dvd's and you'll be surprised what people sell. 500 is pocket change to them.

Selling DVD right from the start? I don't think it is a good idea. How about letting the account age for few month then you will get higher limits anyway, and probably could sell high risk items ( as they like to call it here) such as DVD's. Win-win

LOL no guys?!? When I first started selling on my very first account. Don't know what dvd's you guys are thinking about. I sell my own personally owned dvd's used.

If you guys referring to fitness dvd's or new dvd's. I will never go there. Especially the first one, that is a no NO just from reading all the post here.

This is one of the most overlooked things when ppl are stealthing. 5/500s have the potential to be one of the strongest accounts because it gets built up. And limit increases seem to come faster on these than the other accounts.

5/500s are really not bad at all, they usually get the quickest increases

Don't knock the 5/500 accounts! Sure, a 1000/25000 account is better. But you can build ANY stealth account!

I have a 5/500 that was created a few years ago when they first started with these limits. Today it is selling almost $5k per month.

So, please don't look at the account and think you did something wrong. Those are probably the most common limits. And the "ugly ducklings" can turn into beautiful swans!

I noticed that years ago. Back then there was a seller banging out used panties steady and for good money...I think he/she would use two or three words in their titles....funny!

eBay says 30 days but I have had my allowance increased every 20 days without any problem, I guess the accounts with higher limits are being rewarded less often compared to the lower limit ones.
