Steal of design by competitor

Hi Guys!

I created very cute html design for some of my listings. This design made my listings look very professional and helped me to sell more even for higher price. Now I see that one of my competitors just stole my design...He didn't even change anything...It is absolutely identical...The whole appearance, pictures, description, everything! It was just copy-paste! I wrote him and he said "f**k you"...Really. This moron just laughs on me.
Do you have experience of fighting such competitors? I have already sent claim to ebay, but still nothing changed.
Can you advice me anything?

Watermark your ebay name across the photos next time.

you can report them on ebay UK chat (if you use eBay uk) and their listing should be removed, happened few times for me

Take matters into your own hands.

That's really bad advice for a multitude of reasons...

If someone copies your listing word for word, you can report them for it. eBay DOES act on these complaints....I've seen it from BOTH sides (as the stolen and stealer!)

Within what period of time Ebay took measures? Because I complaint 8 hours ago - still no result.

If he said "F*** You" to you then I would think you could report him for that. I do not see ebay condoning that language.

If design using your hosting can change location and for current location make images where they quickly change it. I seen people due this to people use there banners and also bandwidth. This why people watermark them.

Not usually...I've had it taken down using the regular drop down list. But calling WOULD be faster.

Report it to eBay. They will take the listing down.

Guys, thank you for your advices. It seems like ebay took measures, I checked competitor's store today, his listings with my design were removed.

Also I noticed in his store some ⊗⊗⊗⊗ products and I sent e-mail with links to right owners

) heheheh...This is my small revenge
