Does ebay offer any protection from "⊗⊗⊗⊗ customer complaints"
If I am a seller and my competitor buys a couple items from me under a "different account" of his....and then opens up 2-3 ebay cases with me to bring my defect rating down up so I am no longer "competing" against him....is there ANY way ebay can protect you as a seller from this?
If not, it makes it incredibly easy to shut your competition down on ebay.

eBay has become a lot better in removing these sorts of marking downs recently. Still far from perfect though and open to manipulation
Right, but what if the complaints were filed from 2 or 3 separate accounts? For example from 2 or 3 friends accounts. They would not be able to become linked in such a case.
Seems VERY open to manipulation if you ask me.

While the rest of us were busy filling orders today, you were busy trying (in vain) to take down a fellow eBay seller. People have families to feed, attacking sellers isn't right. If they are doing something bad enough there is a system in place to take care of them.
