Don't know how to deal with this
About a year ago, someone lied to eBay about me, and without asking me, they suspended my selling capabilities indefinitely with over 12,000 feedbacks and a history of 98% feedback since 2005. Nice, huh?
Anyhow, I purchased an eBay/PayPal account from someone here on aspkin, and after selling a few items, PayPal wanted me to provide proof that I was who I was claiming to be. They wanted a bill with my registered address with my name on it and a copy of a driver's license, among other things. Well, I still had (and still have) my old eBay account, which I use for purchasing, so I got an IP address device, so when I logged on, eBay wouldn't know it was me, and they didn't.
However, I was never able to get past PayPal's ridiculous, "prove who you are" questions. What do other people do in this instance? I was using a different name, different bank account, and I would have never been able to show proof of who I was, because who I was being wasn't who I am. :(
Where to from here?
