Re: Dropship from China/ US
Speed was a problem if you ship using 'China Post' from China.
But nowadays there's different postal services/ agents in China, e.g. Singapore Post, German Post, USPS, etc.
Basically they cooperate with the foreign post office and ship directly to that office first (ship from China to Singapore first, for SG post) OR directly to the recipient's country (ship using Singapore Post but package never enter SG from China, goes directly to recipient.)
And for higher-value items they have local warehouse in USA/ Europe, so there's no tax issues.
As a Hong Kong/ Chinese seller, it's relatively easy for me to source products from China. I was just wondering if dropship is anyway better for US/ Europe sellers than sourcing from China and shipping locally instead.
