Yes ~ that is what is so wonderful about using Auctiva! I switch through my various Auctiva accounts on the same Windows user account/IP address. Be very careful not to click on any item links in Auctiva that would redirect you to eB. You can list, relist, view sold items (get shipping addresses) and upload tracking from Auctiva.

Also, you can have up to three eB accounts under one Auctiva account. Send an email to Auctiva with the user names of three of your Auctiva accounts and ask them to be combined for billing purposes. I pay $14.95/month for every three accounts I have bundled. This plan gives you unlimited listing/relisting but there is a cap on the amount of photos you can store on their server (it's a large amount of space that I'm not even close to filling).

Hi. Am I right to say that by listing and managing your ebay via Auctiva, you dont have a need for a Dedicated IP or changing IP since you are not actually visiting or clicking to ebay during all of these processes.

And what are the other activities you cannot do via your auctiva, that would require you to login to ebay?

Thanks

There are some things you cannot do through Auctiva, ( checking your invoices, accepting listing offers, seeing how many of your store listings you've used, responding to cases, etc ) but I use it for all of my EB accounts, and never had a problem.

It's cheaper to pay the Auctiva fee for scheduling/listing than to pay the $.10 per item scheduling fee if you have a store EB if you're listing/relisting a lot of items.

It reduces my required EB logins to maybe one per week per account, sometimes less. For the accounts with automated relisting and low needs ( just selling and relisting ) I can go a month or more without logging in if I don't need to.

Helps if you have a lot of accounts. The ones you've got on idle, just letting them stay warm and active selling a few items a week, or a couple of dozen a month, can have daily attention without the hassle of switching IP's.

I wrote a macro to cycle through all my Auctiva accounts to see if anything sold, I print whatever labels I need to daily on each account as I cycle through and move on.

@dallis,

Thanks for the update. So, I can assume it is safe to login to auctiva from any IP even from a previously ban IP as long as you are NOT clicking through to ebay.

Also, I read elsewhere in an aged thread that you shouldn't be linking two or more ebay accounts with a single auctiva account. Otherwise ebay will link you and get you ban.

Does that assumption still hold?

The IP isn't a problem because you use Auctiva's server and data.

I keep 1 EB to 1 auctiva, so I can't say about the linking for multiple accounts, but Sooner says he has up to 3 per auctiva earlier in this thread.

The basic account is $2.95 per month, so it's not worth it to me to bundle them up.

My attitude is, one day who knows, what if Auctiva sells it's info or data to EB or is merged into them, they may have access to historical data it's 'game over'.
