There is a precedent for posting without reading and/or comprehending...

May can be slow with seasonal sales....
Seems we have this conversation yearly. % wise I agree some sellers do have much lower sales.

I think you want everyone here to think you are a high roller-seller, risk taker extraordinaire. Just the fact I got under your skin so easily shows thy weakness.

Risk Taker? LOL You really have not read my threads over the years.

What people on this forum or any forum for that matter think is irrelevant to me and 99% of the other members on this forum or I sure as hell hope.

You did not get under my skin. I am confrontational and find your comment stupid and quite frankly, I am bored. It made you look stupid, that is for sure.

Hercules, who cares though? There's nothing wrong with being confident if you have the statistics to back yourself up with. Yankee is one of the handful of members here you can have an in depth conversation with about international e-commerce and business financial matters. Personally I get tired of the "why come ebay took my money when I ripped off the customer?" type questions, and welcome the more serious discussions.

Good point phaz0rz!

I never said I was not a volume seller or a "high roller", I said I did not care what members think. What is big to one person may be small to another. That is all a matter of perspective.

If someone wants an idea of my volume, it is really easy. Look at my first post on this forum or read the hundreds of in debt threads over the years. I am not ashamed and I certainly am not bragging.

I have also openly discussed the many many issues I have had over the years. To say I am ALWAYS doing good or great was just stupid and I am sure it is because neither of us know each other or jealousy. The whole, I cant do that so no one else can kinda deal.

Flattering and it broke up my boring day.
:peace:

Thanks for all responses. Whoever is doing well at this time, may it be even better. Those of us who struggle, I guess we should try to implement the recommendations some of our fellas have suggested

Glad this topic had so much interest and responses.

Re: huge eBay Sales Drop???

My sales dropped a few weeks ago for a particular product but that's because other sellers were selling the product at a lower price.. I then matched their price and sales picked up significantly still making profit but was small profit.. I then changed the price back to my original price and I'm now making the same amount of sales I was when I first started selling the product.

Re: huge eBay Sales Drop???

It's really about PROFIT margin, no? 1 million, but spending 900k on inventory would be a waste. Not that those are your numbers, or you wouldn't be so happy... But using that example, for the same net result I'd rather spend 10k on something that makes 10times multiple for the same 100k

1mm at 10% profit margin = 100k.

As opposed to...

10,000 x 10x return = 100k.
