Each label will have its "scan" barcode. It just prints them all out one after another... A long sheet of paper with a duplicate barcode as on each box. you take these sheets to the counter and have postal agent scan each one. It is the equivalent of scanning each label on the box, because they are identical. Thus, you wont need to lug every box to the counter and have them scanned one by one. You just drop off the packages and have postal agent scan the sheets.... there is no such as one master scan as you propose with your method. There will be one barcode for each box...

@Retailer, do you have any kind of relationship with your Postal Office Employees? If not I would strongly suggest you start a conversation with them and let them know you drop off items on a daily basis.

Communicate with your post office and help them understand that as a top rated seller you must show a package has been shipped within 24 hours. Ask for a receipt when you drop them off if they give you a problem.

There is a master scan which is one barcode for every postage printed. When you have multiple postages to print and you use multilabel postage as already mentioned you will be given the option to print the master scan sheet for your order.

So if you purchase 20 postages thru bulk shipping you will have the option to print thr scan sheet which is one barcode that will scan all 20

Yea the scan label works as one barcode for the all items printed on one account . if using many accounts you will have many scan labels with different shipper names on it . i always just stand in line and ask for the acceptance receipt on items 200+ in value . ALSO call and ask for postmaster tell him you are getting complaints about not shipping even tho you have and PO just didnt scan them in . BE FRIENDLY AS CAN BE just explain your worries

That really does not matter to much at all seeing as the receipt has no value but the fact that every label you printed off will show ACCEPTANCE SCAN online does. This includes labels you have yet to package and left at the office for tomorrow.

Well if I have receipt of scans at least I can claim my insurance if package gets lost..if I have no receipt there no proof it was even scanned in at the p.o.

In all reality, odds are, if you have no scan at all, the item was never brought to the post office.

Who brings items to the post office? That sounds incredibly silly to me. They will come to your door and scan your forms and pick up your items everyday except sunday for free.

Just to add on to what yankee said: You will quickly make friends with your mail carrier if you go onto USPS.com and schedule a package pickup everyday once you've printed all your labels. Your mail carrier will get "credit towards their route" for the scheduled packages. I'm not sure what that means or what the incentive is for them, but that's something my mail carrier specifically asked me to do years ago. Add a SCAN form to that, and your mail carrier will love you long time.
