Activity: 0% Longevity: 50% | | Quick question about my recent case closed without resolution
Hey guys,
Quick question, after ebay recently closed the case they stated to me that they have refunded the buyer and "now you have to reimburse us"
Is the reimbursement automatic?
Or is there some way I need to manually send the $ to ebay?

Activity: 0% Longevity: 50% | | Case decided on my favor
Hey guys, I recently had a case closed without resolution and appealed it through ic3.gov form.
I got an email from eBay recently stating the funds will be credited to me and this has been decided in my favor.
It also stated an beg feedback or dsr's left for this item will not effect my seller rating either.
This is great news, however the case closed without resolution is still there when I look on my seller dashboard.
Does it take a day or two for them to remove it?
Thanks

That would be my guess. It may not change until the next time your metrics are calculated.

You may have to call in. It still was a case closed without a seller resolution.

Buyer opened a return request, then called in 8 minutes later and got a rep to close the case and it showed me at fault so I really do not know.
Back when I had this in 2013, no matter what, if ebay got involved, it was a case not resolved by seller.

Isn't it safe to assume the case closed without resoluton would also drop off?

It seems that they would have said that in addition to DSR and Feedback because they are two different things. I guess you will find out soon enough. I would not worry about it.

I would watch for them to try and take it out of your paypal account.
If they don't attempt to take it out of your paypal account then check
your ebay seller fees. They might have added it to your account
as a fee.
Did they send you anything else about it? With instructions on how to
reimburse them?

Why did you not just use the thread on the same topic?
You have that many threads it is hard to follow which problem we need to try to help you resolve? |

It was an ebay money back guarantee, when logged in eBay click account it will probably be in red at the top the money you owe, just like if u owed fees, u will need to pay using any form of payment

You need to monitor this until your funds are correctly returned.
Be very careful here.
Keep on top of this. |

I am just really really hoping they will remove this case closed without res because it would take a serious burden off my shoulders and give me room to breath.

Are you selling too much or not organized?
Where do you actually stand with being organized and knowing what is going on?
Is the PO sorted for scanning? Mind I might not get a reply sighs. |

Glad to hear you figured it out.
You have to keep in mind during any situation like this that Ebay is just a website, controlled by millions of scripts. Humans intervene when necessary but for the most part everything is automated.
