Buying items that cost 99p is the best way I've found to get feedback, you'll always find items that are cheap; which you'll use in some way, shape or form.

Personally for me?
-> Phone head phones
-> Phone head phones for different phone
-> Phone screen protectors (x3 - Different sellers, same item)
-> Screen protector for different phone

What are you selling?
-> Get your packaging from eBay
-> Use multiply sellers, same item, more feedback.

I got the items I needed for packaging (Including paper, envelopes, etc) and few /goodies/ from eBay, ended up getting 15 positive feedback, few items cost more then 99p, but it gives you a rough guideline.

Tons of items you can get cheap you'd use (Or family members) - On my next stealth account, I plan on getting feedback up using items the mother would love, mainly cake baking molds.

regards

Nice post Shane - welcome to the boards.

You have some nice ideas - maybe (if anything) a little TOO much info on an open subforum but anyway.

I sell low value items to begin with to develop feedback, such as phone cases and wallets, which can be bought in bulk from sites such as alibaba.

Also if you plan on using your account to sell then having selling feedback is twice as valuable to have than buying cheap items.

When do you begin selling these item's? Do you start selling with zero feedback? Or do you gain some feedback from buying first and then sell?

!

Gain feedback with buying then sell after a month - faster is doable but risky.

I agree with rsot, if you MUST, buy a few odd things for around the house.
Wouldnt start selling until 30 days however is possible if you sell for example 1 item a week that wouldnt be considered high risk.
Also if you buy ebooks to gain feedback do this sparingly as ebay might suspend you for feedback manipulation.
I personally buy maybe 5-10 things in the first month and then start selling after 30 days.

BEST BEST CHEAP WAY

search feedback - Auction style

bids range and sell between 1 cent and 40 cents.

Make tons of bids on many sellers

----

Search digital pictures or post cards ( auction style )
start bidding on items less than 40 cents

----

Buy digital goods :P electronic pictures where there is no actual "shipping"

Any thoughts on buying and selling between stealth accounts to increase feedback? All the money is ending up in the same place at some point? Thanks.

@mrlilypad, done properly it can be done powerfully. Problem is the chance of mistaken linkage and sending payments back and forth between same PP - very dangerous. Also depends what you would be buying and selling - buying these low items is one thing but SELLING is completely different. New accounts sellnig digital stuff are heavily scrutinized.

I won't condone this method. All the best.

If your buying many many cheap items between 0.01 - 0.99 this can draw extra attention to your account so be careful if this is what your doing to build feedback!

But like i previously said selling feedback is much better than buying, afterall buyers wont be looking at feedback you've gained as a buyer will they.

Its not a precise science to say when its definatly the right time to sell but generally after 30 days you should be fine yes.

Start SLOW, slower the better.

And on a new account try avoid selling VERO items especially at the beginning.

Just sell your items, once you get a few items out you should have some feedback and look legit enough.

hi
my experience don't sell high priced item, stay under 100$ or so, for gaining feedback i do a mixture of ebooks, digital photographs, used stamps, headphones, phone screenprotectors,Game cards
you can buy anything that can be sold again to make seller feedback as i buy used stamps when i get them i list it on ebay for selling so the trick is for one thing you are making 2 feedback one buyer and one seller
go slow on selling don't rush i have learnt it through paypal limitations
I LOVE THIS FORUM AND THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SHARE THERE INFO HERE I HAVE LEARNT A LOT FROM HERE.
