Ok so buyers are slack with the feedback, i have noticed this lately. I sell things and everything i sell i put tracking on. A week goes by nothing, no feedback left by the buyer.
So lately i have not been leaving feedback when they buy something from me. Kinda like holding it to wait and see what they are going to do... is this a good practice?
i have about 10 open sales that i need to leave feedback for but i have not gotten any from these buyers either.
Any input appreciated
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Personally I have found that if I leave feedback first, more buyers leave feedback for me.
In the past, when sellers were able to leave neg. feedback for buyers, I used to wait for their feedback first. If they gave a neg. I would return the favor.
Since they changed it so sellers can only leave possitive, I leave feedback as soon as I have packed and posted.
I agree with ALPS. Since you can only leave positive feedback anyway, and since I GET a little more feedback when I GIVE feedback first, it makes more sense for me to just leave a positive when the item is shipped.

Thats how it is for me here in UK
ALPS is right 100%. After the policy changed, I tested both ways. I received far more feedback from buyers when I immediately left them feedback after cleared payments. You will never get feedback from every single person, but the truth is and the way the buyers see it, they did their part and paid for the item plain and simple. YOU GOT PAID, which is the main goal for all of us here. The least you can do is leave them a green plus sign on their profile.

I never leave feedback after the payment. I always wait to see if the buyer is a scammer, or a douche bag before leaving feedback. If I get a neg or neutral and if the buyer is wrong, I use the positive feedback option to warn future sellers about the buyer. Leaving feedback right after works to get more feedback, but if he turns out to be a jerk and then you are stuck with your positive feedback.
You can always reply to feedbacks on your profile or your buyer's...
You can but on one of the buyer feedback pages for my recent horror story they had left negative feedback for a seller, the seller responded and eBay removed the response but did leave a note saying that there was one and it was removed. There has to be some response that they will leave alone. Maybe "response will be removed by eBay".
