Default Giving Partial Refund To Someone Who Left Negative?

I am currently working on cleaning out my account of all bad and neutral feedback.

Is it ok if I offer a partial refund for someone to change the feedback to positive?

I would describe to them sometimes shipping takes longer than expected and I am sorry it can take so long, etc.

Of course, anything within the rules can be done to get feedback removed or changed.

Careful how you word it to the buyer.
You wouldn't want to sound like you're bribing him

Does your account have enough feedback to take these revisions?

In terms of other feedback, how does this rate on a scale of 1--10?

You would have to be very tactful.

Consider if it is worthwhile....

In the mean time, make sure your account has improved its shipping methods.

You dont have unlimited buyer feedback revisions - you have a very small amount. Use the invites WISELY and think about 1) whether absolutely need to remove the feedback and 2) will the buyer actually remove the feedback.

Exactly.

the limited number of revisions must be used wisely and with every expectation of success.

Pointless otherwise.

Watch out for idiots who say they will change feedback but never do, waste of a revision request :(

I had one guy change a negative to a neutral - so that didnt help - this a while back so I hear that.

Not worth my time - I just get more positives.

Yea that happened to me where the neg turned to neutral but I like having that 100% rating so I was pleased.
New buyers on ebay always seem to be most trouble for me at least, once in a while something gets damaged in the mail being that some of my items are glass but this happens so rare and I immediately reship or offer refund but I swear new buyers like under 60 positives are ruthless and don't understand ebay and think they are being scammed.

the buyer actually came to their own conclusion that I knowingly sent a damaged item and that it couldn't of been damaged in the mail I instantly responded to there email. I refunded them fully and reshipped a new one and they still left negative feedback. I took a chance and through revisions sent that problem was handled refund and item given at no charge and to my surprise they did revise but to a neutral but still saying I shipped a damaged item but refunded money immediately and sent new item.

Some buyers are absolutely merciless

@Dmshark25

Did you consider 'speaking' to them? I do that sometimes in the occasional quest for full revision.

Each case differs. But I notice buyers chill a bit with such an effort.

I also like to check if buyers are actually SELLERS themselves before I deal with feedback revision... they are more likely to understand
