If I offer a buyer a revised feedback request and he accepts, does it also allow them to change the DSRs? or just the positive/negative feedback left?

he is allowed to revise the dsr too I did this once too and it worked,be sure to tell him you want 5 stars

DSRs are NOT always able to be revised. They are meant to be anoynmous.

Negative feedback may be revised.

Also, I would reconsider whether it is worth the feedback revision request to begin with.

Remember, you only have a limited amount of requests you can send out. It might be 5 requests per 1000 (someone else might have the accurate numbers to correct me here).

Your figures are correct.

5 requests per 1000 in the past consecutive 12 months.

Each request has a time frame.

ONLY one request permitted per transaction.

well its worth it in this case as I am a TRS on this account, This low DSR score will strip me of that status on the next evaluation and I havent used any yet and around 500 transactions

Make sure the buyer will go along with the request, and attends to everything within the needed time frame.

Is that 500 different transactions? That means you only have x2 feedback requests.
If this is not done 'in time' , you miss out.

I usually agree with the buyer off ebay on conditions (complete refund, sometimes even credit) to make sure they will change the negative feedback into positive. Works all the time.

Feedback change request are precious, don't waste them.

Cant you increase the ratio and percentage with quick sales that are going to achieve positive feedback?

In a depressed selling market, that is still going to take time.

By all means increase sales but be realistic.

May not even be financially worthwhile for the OP to incur extra costs for increasing feedback.

Agree with the ameliorated situation for sellers.

As for OP, communicate with the buyer and see what he can do. I wouldnt break my head over 1 negative feedback.

Unless it is a high dollar amount or other reasons I care about 1 negative is not worth using up your numbers.

Now if it was December 1st and you are expected a ton of sales then yes it might be worth it.

For me if I get one and seldom do I shove it down by selling lots more items that are sure sellers. Bury it down a couple pages and most wont even look at it.

Haha that's what I do sandy list a bunch of positive fast selling feedback items buy a few ebook a few recipes and get rid of that red mark

I hate negatives, I wish I could block buyers with less than 100 feedbacks, it's always the new buyers that get so paranoid over being scammed, I can't stand new buyers I just want to grab them and scream "u can't get scammed as a buyer on ebay"

Most of those new buyer are not so new.

They are what I call "professional buyers" who sit on ebay all day trying to figure out how to get something for free. When they see a newer sellers account they go on the attack.

That is how I feel. And you guys are lucky to actually get the feedback revised by buyer. I try to offer person that is trying to scam me a refund on the parameters that they revise the feedback - never do.

If feedback is unwarranted or the buyer is suspect. Make sure you report the buyer. I agree especially on stealth accounts where sales are limited. As much as I hate to bend over backwards if you can get a negative reversed it is always a plus. In many cases if it costs me money I say f it and move one. But I do have principles, there are some buyers who have ticked me off so much I don't care. I do not deal with the "professional buyers" aka "eBay Terrorists" Sandy has described.
