Buyer feedback means nothing if you want to build a decent seller account.

Does not count as seller feedback.

What does it count as? So if Im new and have zero positive feedback, I buy an e book, where does that feedback go? It doesnt give me 1 positive feedback?

Your feedback will have a total of 1, however if a buyer goes to look at your feedback it automatically shows "Feedback as a seller" so the buyer will be brought to your feedback page and their will be 0 feedbacks, and than their they can click "feedback as buyer" and see that one positive feedback

Besides for show, they both have different functions. For your account to be free of category limits you need 25 seller feedback. So in a situation if your feedback score is say 100 but 80 was from buying and 20 from selling you will still need 5 more feedback from sales to get to 25 selling feedbacks and release any category restrictions

As has been previously stated, sell things... But even at a small loss...

Example I have a primary account that sells only new, I look over each item and make sure it is in best condition. However I have smaller accounts that I sell the less them AS-IS or used. They are often in better then described condition. People love this and say "wow its like new"...

Create lower expectation and exceed that expectation. People are more likely to give you feedback...

However people often do the reverse. Great listing, excellent pictures and then ship sub par item. Higher expectations + Sub Par product = Bad feedback

I think that this is really important with this ratings system, I'll always sell dollar store items throughout my accounts , and take a loss on them. But more important than feedback is the amount of transactions in this system,

I like keeping transactions high that way if their is a defect it will easily be drowned out by constant transactions throughout the day from these giveaway dollar store items.

And the more bids and purchases , the more traffic gets sent your way. So I may lose a small amount with the dollar store items , but it's boosting traffic and transactions , two keys that is needed to keep your account at a high standard in this system.

And than also you will have a nice stream of positive feedbacks.

You sell items at a loss to,drive in the customers and than once they are in you sell your main items as well that have a high profit margin that will make up for any loss.
Basically the same strategy seen in supermarkets.

And I think of those losses more as just a marketing fee, because as mentioned they boost traffic and boost sales of other items.

This system thrives from activity, a stale or slow account will just slowly die to where there is no traffic at all in your store.

These accounts need to be active and selling, bidding , watching, etc,,, An active account will just keep growing more and more.

Just an FYI....Buying Ebooks, Selling Ebooks, Buying Digital, Selling Digital crap for feedback is not the best way to go about it. Might of worked a few years ago but not anymore.

Buyer Feedback; It's great to build "some" feedback but any real buyer looks at "Sellers Feedback".....I don't care if someone has 100,000 feedback if they only have 1-5 actual selling feedback.

For anyone on this forum....It's all about Sellers Feedback.

This technique works for everyone. If you want a proper legit stealth account. You'll bite the bullet. Take that small loss for proper reviews and then your on your way. I manage a little over 300 stealth accounts now since my time here.

Here's a warning if you're buying feedback on ebay. I've bought feedback for all my accounts for the last few years, and just last week paypal limited one of my accounts for suspicious activity while doing the same thing. I had bought about 65 items over the course of the month, all for 11 cents or less. Paypal account was even aged for over a year. What a waste of time(and money).

If you have the item people want it's going to sell regardless of feedback

Re: building feedbacks

Most people don't check feedback type. So having like 5-6 feedbacks even as a buyer is better than having none.

Very true.

Re: building feedbacks

I usually buy some cheap NON-DIGITAL crap like envelopes, cd-rs, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ jewelry, nail stickers, phone cables, phone cases, all from auctions, so price never goes above 1 usd. All that is done during first month of sales, so it ages and gets feedbacks, very nice! Also I try to sell a couple of things cheap, safe things like phone cases that cost 5 usd, for 1 usd, just to earn feedbacks fast. I think that investing less than 10 bucks into every stealth is better than using totally virgin zero-feedback accs and wondering why were they suspended over and over after first sale attempt.

true except that if you have 100 feedbacks someone is probably going to buy from you faster than if you have 3 feedbacks.
Dons't matter if the seller or buyer feedbacks to most people - someone with 100+ beside their handle "looks" more established.

Established, sure but none of the "perks" of having real seller feedback.
