had a buyer leave neg feedback

this guy has his feedback marked private . I sent him the item he claims didnt get it . I refunded money . he leaves neg feedback , i message him asking if we can work this out . He replies leave him feedback if he likes it he will consider changing his feedback . wouldnt this fall under feedback manipulation ? Should i call in request getting it removed ? Sure this guy is a competitor i figured when i seen his fb marked private he was troubles SURE enough

If youre certain the guy is a competitor then leaving him a positive feedback will not do any good because he is lying to you.
I wonder though why his feedback is private if he is a competitor. More likely is he has done this before and needs to hide the positive feedbacks left by others warning against this pattern of his.
I myself would contact ebay about it. You have his demand for a positive feedback which is feedback extortion and you have the fact his private feedback is likely hiding similar comments about him.

just send him a feedback revision request and then message and him and tell him if he dosent change feedback you will screnshot messages and report to ebay

DO NOT waste a feedback revision request without the buyer explicitly agreeing to revise their feedback first. They are extremely hard to come by and it's dumb to throw one away like that.

This is the kind of situation I'd call in on..
