Since it's your legit ebay/pp then I would have though you have to pay the fees.

ebay/pp will pass the debt on to bailifts and take you to court if you don't pay up

Hey... I really don't think eBay and paypal would actual send the debts to a collection agency or something. If you know eBay and paypal scammers like I do you would know that paypal and eBay deal with debts exceeding tens of thousands on a single account every day.

To go after the small fry for 87$ when there are people out there scamming eBay and paypal on a daily basis for over tens of thousands just seems a little bit far-fetched to me

^^^^ about 2-3 months and you will start recieving letters from debt collectors. Might as well pay them because it will affect your credit score if you don't.

The difference is, most scammers aren't stupid enough to scam someone using their real details...

But maybe you are right about it only being $80 odd... I just wouldn't be surprised if the debt collectors came around. It's not worth the worry imo

Actually they will send them to debt collectors. I have received them on two different occasions, one for 76.16 and the other for 59.00. So might as well pay for them.

Default collections

I have received a statement from a collection agency this week over disputed fees...so yes they do send you to collections even if you are requesting a review of your over-charged account

Notice from collections on an account just suspended in November? You must have annoyed them big time to have collections after you so quickly

For gods sake - you used their site now pay what you owe - then go stealth and earn it - and much more - back again.

Why bring potential carp down on your head?

They will definitely want that money one way or another, I owe eBay about £17 and they've been constantly been sending me messages to pay the fees (My main eBay account also has been banned to I also avoided paying the fees) Looks like now they have passed it onto newman and company which I believe is a dept collection company.

It's best to just pay for it and get it off your chest trust me you don't want them fees to double or triple because if the situation is given to dept collectors then not only will they increase the amount of money you owe they will also prosecute you and take legal action (If you are over the age of 18 of course).

PAY YOUR DUES! Ebay will send you to a Collections Agency. You sold on the site and you should pay your Fees.

Definitely pay the fees since it isn't a stealth account and is linked to your real info.

Man,,What kind of Question is that??? So in other words Ebay is only useful to you when they allow you to sell Garbage on their Site,,,As soon as Ebay Figures out that what your selling is Garbage and Suspends your account,,,YOU Get Mad,,,,,

Now you get this Crazy Notion that Ebay Wronged YOU,,So you feell like you have Every right to screw them out of their Money,,,,,

Does that Roughly sum up your Mindset?,,,because that is Exactly what you are making most of us here on the Forum think,,,

PAY Your Fees,,,,,,,,,,,
