ebay can change the registration site though , it is not a problem as long as your details on ebay match

Anybody here from Eastern EU that was banned after signup for MP with stealth details? So far I see eb accepting anyone and I wonder when they’ll start checking docs ?
Anyone received any confirmation?
I signed up for MP with real details but mismatch bank account. I submitted bank doc and now waiting for validation.

Same thing. Messages that they can't confirm my identity and bank info. Sent micro deps. Think these are automatic. Here is harder to be verified, this might be mandatory to sumbit docs.

This text about them not being able to confirm identity is likely to be a poor worded request for ID , I think they do not mean that they checked and did not confirm your identity but that you need to send ID so that they can confirm your identity.

It is likely it will be requested from everyone eventually , at least in all risky countries

Yes, probably the full text, found it on the forums:

We couldn't verify the identity information you provided.

But if everything looks good, you'll need to upload a photo ID instead so we can verify you.

You must do this to get fully set up for managed payments.

I think it means that docs will now be requested for every account in these countries and in the future in all countries. the exodus of UK account sellers here has already started because they never had any docs and had to abandon amazon back in the day because of this and will do the same with ebay now

Docs are requested for all accts, yes. Getting same messages in a few minutes after application for mp. We can't get around this. Bank is easily verified with deposits and mismatch.

If they ask you for documentation, it is that something has failed in your database, verify the data and try again, only real people will pass, from my experience.

Which countries you're experienced with ? Is there such public databases/agencies in Spain ?

Also Greece taking part for managed payments.
Does anybody know for bank verification, if you request for micro-deposits and ebay succeeded transfered the ammounts to your bank acc and in verification progress you enter this ammounts, is it ok with bank verification? done? or not?

Something else pls, the "company registration number" is my tax ID where you can find it?
Also i believe will be a problem here with the language because most of legal documnets are in Greek. Our National ID is in Latin and in Greek together.

Definitely a greek will check your documents. For smaller countries eb will have people from that countries I suppose. Or else how could check greek documents or Chinese, or Russian etc..

nowdays it is not a question of nationality as there is software that can do checks against templates from database

Going back and forth with the MPs. They can't find a solution for me how to send me deps in EUR. So it seems my army of co.uk accs is busted now. As can't add mismatched TW - they see name mismatch during the microdep reversal process and block the account. And I can't add my other bank - it wants EUR deposits, and does not accept GBP. Will try more but loosing faith in this as for now.
