You can try with mismatched names or change the ebay account holder's name. Don't have personal experience. I'll test using stealth info first.

@nqkoi, got it.
I heard they will ask for ID within a couple of days of registration , apparently from everyone

Received MP request in one account. Sent them ID, requested microdeps to my bank. However, address registered is in EU but they've sent them in GBP, so I highly doubt they will reach my bank successfully - it does not support anything besides EUR. But it seems it is also possible to get the bank verified by providing a statement. Will see how it works in the next few days.

Maybe funds will go trough. Had company payoneer (in USD) a few years back and was able to withdraw to my local bank account (in BGN). I think funds are coverted according to your bank rates.

the information about payoneer may have been an error since adyen have a number of approved countries which are mostly EU countries and a couple of bigger countries outside

so it may be that all these countries will have adyen after all and all other countries payoneer

As it is apparent from what I've posted, Latvia was selected to use Ayden and direct IBAN payouts, not Payoneer. Let's hope I will be able to get the IBAN verified.

I thinks you will be fine with your IBAN verification regarding the currency question.

@murdered_by_ebay

Yes, I'll need to upload an ID probably, still don't know when

BG bank. I'm not really sure what's going on, i'm still receiving emails that they couldn't verify my personal and bank info. I will wait 1-2 days to see is there any transactions appear.

So they ask for National ID photo after you change name of the account and add bank details? I wonder if my ID will work.

As for me they asked for ID as soon as I tried to apply to MPs. Stealth ID seemed to work. But they want to operate with me in GBP, so I do not know how to fix that as for now as account has been registered on .co.uk and I have no idea where should a Latvian seller register in order to get paid properly in Euros.

If you register in .de, .it, .fr and other EU marketplaces, your main currency will be EUR

So a handful of very old and strong EB accounts will now go to the dustbin just because they were registered on a wrong ebay site? Seems nonsense.

I think ebay should have an option to change default currency, so I would suggest to contact CS and ask about it

Had a very long chat with EB support. During that chat I've found out that MP system checks for the official currency of the registration country of the seller, and sends microdeps in that currency. Also, microdeps currency has changed in the bank verification page in my ebay account. So... fingers crossed!

hi..just received the ebay email about MP and have a deadline to "register" in the next 2 weeks and add a bank account. On earlier email i remember they mentioned payoneer and i though i was going to register to payoneer for this. So the problem now is that ebay is under a family friend since my own real account was terminated long time ago but i am managing it and mostly buying items for both of us and selling from time to time. Account is registered under ebay.co.uk but im located in EU.

So what i should do? If i confirm friends data and add my own bank will be a problem? can ebay check if account and bank dont match to same person? can i use revolut/monese/binance etc iban details for payout? If i dont register within the timeline what happens? This is only for selling or ebay in general (have problem buying)?

I am a seller from Lithuania and I seem to have issues registering to this new MP platform. My account is registered under ebay.com. I did everything eBay asked, provided ID, Iban account, confirmed two micro amounts so my account can be confirmed, but today I received message from my bank that payment has not been made because I have not signed a direct debit service agreement with the Internet bank and to contact eBay again.
I tried to talk with the representative, but they don't seem to know anything. I did send an email to eBay as well, but I doubt they will be helpful. Did anyone registered successfully?
