Default Using family members info for managed payments?

If I were to use a family members information to create a ebay account for managed payments, would I be able to use my personal bank account and just open a new chequings account which I can add under the family members ebay account without any linkage if I ever open new accounts with the same bank account with new sub accounts? Also, if bank statements are required would it be fine to just edit the name and any other details to pass verification?

Thanks in advance.

Ebay will check to see if checking account name matches eBay's info.

So putting your family's name into eBay and opening checking accounts in family link will not work.

Editing documents will not pass verification. This isn't PayPal where they give the eyeball test "looks legit" and pass you. They verify the information. If you give account number "123456" and say name John Doe (this isn't the method they use) but essentially it's like them calling the bank and asking if account number 123456 belongs to John Doe.

You'll need to use your family's checking account, which they probably won't agree to. But ask if they will open a new account and not fund it and let you use it, more than likely they could agree to this.

Yes, you can. My friend was able to link his own bank account to a different name eBay and everything was fine. The system is different for us in Canada. Just be sure to verify your bank by micro deposits.

No, they can’t verify by calling bank, or asking bank info about person who owns the bank account. This is sensitive information and banks will not disclose info about their clients unless are forced by law.
The only way to find info about bank accounts is when you let them see the information or when you give them that info.
You will do that in 2 ways:
1.verify bank account with micro deposit
2. or verify by logging directly thru eb.
These 2 ways clearly shows your real identity when eb/ady start checking you.
The stealth eb accounts verified with micro deposit will be killed sooner or later. The reason why some are still standing is because eb/ady didn’t make a proper check yet. An in-depth check is made after some volume is sold.
Better send doctored bank docs to match eb account.

you can add family member name to your bank account,I did that with my mother,no problem.
plenty of people do that ,when they kick the bucket, the other person would just withdraw from that bank account without all the probate crap.
In your case, you dont have to tell that family member his/her name is on your bank account

how do they verify identity with microdeposits? I used my real bank account but it seems incredible that the bank provided my details with this

They are not able to see your name with micro deposits. You will only see the eBay name for each payout you receive in your bank account.

Yes, you should be able to use your own bank account.

Mismatched names won't matter as usual

If you choose the micro-deposit is it mandatory you have to send a bank statement to ebay? Also, I think if ebay has to withdraw money for paying fees from your bank account your name will be shown?

Not mandatory to send bank statement from what I have seen and yes, name will be shown when money is taken from the bank account via e-receipt generated
