Mc011 Account Restricted Supply ID Documents & Supplier Information
 

Hi All I’ve had a stealth account for about 3 months and I’ve done about £4000 in sales and have about 255 pos feedback and Top Rated Seller so I received a MC011 requesting proof of identification, provide utility bill and provide purchase invoice for items I had listed.

So I’ve gone ahead and provided all this information including where I’ve purchased my items from which is liquidation auction site anyway Ebay comes back to me and Indefiantly restricts my account and this is what they say;
account which has raised concerns related to supplier information, and that if we allowed selling on this account to continue this would pose a high risk to eBay buyers. For this reason there is an indefinite selling restriction in place with no appeals accepted.

Now the supplier information/invoice I provided was legit I purchased the stock in October this year and it was mobile phone accessories.

Ok my question is why have they done this and where have I gone wrong?

They've told you why they've done it - they don't like your supplier.

Where is the supplier based? China?

It’s a well known supplier I just don’t get it Ebay is really pissing me off know.

You can trying giving them a ring if you want by the account may well just be dead I'm afraid

Yh I agree it’s definitely dead I’m just gonna have to start over again and list slowly on multiple accounts.

At this point, you have nothing to lose if you want to try to call them to get it back.

But I'd focus your energy and time to creating back up accounts per stealth guide.

You can also go to the marketplace in this forum and get premade accounts so you can go run again specially in this busy holiday season

Thanks and I agree I’m going to focus on creating back up accounts and I may also purchase a pre-made account to get started.

Good deal. Make sure you also read the stealth guide so you know how the back end works and how to operate your new bought account.

these 2 have to go hand in hand.

I would aim for 3/4 accounts

Build them all up together and then if this ever happens again you have backups ready to take over :)

Yes I’m going to open 5 accounts may be 10 I’ve just had enough of Ebay shutting me down I’ve learnt from my mistakes and never repeated them but for some reason they still shut me down.

At some point, eBay can ask for proof of identity and utility bill?? I did not know this. How did you do this if the account was stealth?

That really depends on what they are asking for

Most the time its not too much of an issue

If you can provide what they asked for, then you're Good.

You have to get creative and give them what they want.

And even so, if the account is limited, it doesn't guarantee you getting your account back.

Personally if I get in trouble, I just ignore them and move one. 1 account get suspended, I start using 3 new back ups. 1 step back 2 steps forward

Hi SaiJin - I suppose your right it’s not really worth the headache therefore jumping onto other accounts you have setup would be more feasible and cut your loses with the suspended account. 😁

Pretty much, those suspended accounts become not a priority for me. If I remember I'll "try" to give them what they want but with the mindset of "They'll screw me over anyways", but I got nothing to lose right now.

see a lot of posts in the forum about mc011 from dropshippers getting troubles with the proof of item ownership. there is a lot of invoice generators in the internet, just make sure you make them really professional even if your supplier is in china - it is still GOOD!

make an invoice that you order lots of item, let say from alibaba, choose a store, take them logo, make sure you use their real address. 2/3 times I did pass MC011.

BUT - make sure you supply with real professional looking documents and if they require for comments - don't blame anything, just supply documents and keep it professional.

Hi HuNows, As previously stated in my thread my invoice was a real invoice real purchase just like the I.d’s sent everything was clear and of good quality but for some apparent reason Ebay was not happy to accept and only Ebay knows why.

Tell me about it’s really annoying especially when everything is above board but not to worry I’ve started to stealth now so eBay WATCH OUT 👹

It is worth the call. I have seen many posts of people getting passed this. Especially during holiday season. However, as stated already work on additional accounts.

A phone call though is only a few minutes and you could learn something if you pick their brain and find-out EXACTLY what they didn't like and shut it down. You can then apply this lesson to your new accounts.

Best of luck to you. Hopefully you get reinstated. Ive got other stealths but this was my legit account at my new address new ip. Was able to use my phone with the app was too good to be true way too easy for a month without issues. Had this account for 6 months so hopefully they like my docs and the review guy is having a good day.

MC011's are very difficult to pass. Usually, you're toast when your accounts get this. Even with real invoices, I found they didn't accept in most cases. Expect they'll still ask for supplier invoices, even if they have no intention of reinstating you.

dont send anything to Ebay, invoices and docs will not help at all, they just wanna have that on file against you
