by the way, you sent me a PM how I opened a US bank account if I was in Japan. well, I didn't. I use a Japanese bank account for one of my PayPal accounts. you can use a Chinese bank account just fine, since China is one of the countries that PayPal accepts. you don't need a US bank account :)

Look I'm Chinese and an American citizen. I've lived in China while I was on Ebay and you cannot open a US bank account without a SSN, passport, or other required US identification whether you are American or Chinese national.

However why do you even need an US bank account? If it's for Paypal just use your Chinese bank account.

Let us know exactly why you need an US bank account and maybe we can help.

By the way - I do know how to get US bank accounts (heck even 2nd passports) without identification but I haven't tried it (since I don't need to) and it's not legal (duh) and probably most importantly it's expensive.

Because i want to open a US eaby account directly ! I think you open a us ebay account by this way.Open a Japan ebay account with Japan bank account and then apply for international trade. Am i right?

why do you want a US eBay account if you're in China? you're either in the US and then you should have no problem opening a US eBay/bank account -or- you're in China and then you should use a Chinese eBay account. or are you going to tell buyers you're in the US when you're really in China? something smells fishy.

yeh this is to weird. you are in china but want to open an acct pretending you are in the us. this cannot be done as explained in previous posts. you must be avalible to show up in person to the us bank. there is no way to open a us bank account from over seas period. can someone close this thread please?

I have found a way to open US bank account and i also owned a prepaid gift card. So can i open a US ebay and Paypal directly in China? If i can not ,Please explain the reason for me. thank you from my heart!

why dont you get a chinese ebay/paypal account?
