How to get into contact with Managed Payments department on the phone?
 

Does anyone know how to get in contact with the managed payments team? I've been calling them several times and they always turn me down, telling me I need to submit an email which goes no where.

My eBay account got suspended for a MC011 notice about 80 days ago and my funds still werent released.

Basically impossible. It's done via emails and the emails are largely ignored. Have to wait upto 180 days sometimes for funds to be released.

I've been reading about it on this forum and some people managed to get in contact with them on the phone. They never said how though.

"Just a quick update , I gave them a call and one of the account got the funds released. As many said on the forum , it really depends on your luck and who they transfer you to. Once they transferred you to manage payment team , i was all good."

I will be calling three times everyday to eBay since some people have found success in getting a hold with the managed payments by spamming calls and getting with the right department.

Their managed payments is a dutch based company called Adyen.

Generally the MC011 suspension is done by eBay who request MP (Ayden) to suspend payments which are generally released after 60 days.

Is your account officially suspended by eBay, ask eBay reps if it is and when you should get paid. The last account I had suspended was not actually suspended but restricted from selling. I had to ask them to officially suspend the account so the clock would start running for the 60 days.

If Ayden suspended your account that is unusual and possibly may be for previous discretions and they are owed money.

UPDATE

I've been calling for 3 days now, twice per day and today after talking with the payout team, they told me they would release it in exactly 10 days which would mark 90 days after the account was suspended.

Do you guys want me to keep calling and hope to get a payout early or stop?

Emails with ebay went nowhere, I was placed with random customer service people from various departments who all gave me the usual BS line that told me to wait 170 days.

I phoned them about 10 times in these past ~4 days and yesterday I managed to get someone from the payout team. He assured me that the payout will be released after 90 days and that I dont need to call anymore.

I'm questioning if I should keep spam calling them again because I remember talking with eBay customer reps on live chat and they said it would take 60-72 days so maybe this 90 days thing was another excuse to postpone the funds being released and make me stop calling.

i don't see further calling as being productive - i'd maybe call after 10 days if the money is not in your pocket...

If you're from North America, do not call at night! These are the most useless people that wont even write a report or try to help you. They all say the same BS line and dont divert away from it no matter how much you explain your situation.

I had more luck calling early in the morning or daytime.

I will update you guys in 10 days (90 days total wait time) if I get the funds or not!

Spam calling would probably annoy them and effect your pay out, best wait for it.

Update - it reached 93 days and still no payout. I had a gut feeling that I should've never taken their word for it. How stupid am I. They already lied when they said they were gonna release it in 60 days.

The only way to advance this case is to get a higher up who will escalate it.

I’ve had funds released on day 61, on day 59, and most current situation, funds haven’t been released yet and it’s Been over 180 days. Ebay changed the normal 60-72 day wait period to 160-180 days. That was what I was told earlier this week!

If it’s over 180 days and it’s a eBay.com account they may have sent the funds to the state under escheatment.

180 days is credit card dispute,your buyer can open a case with his cc issuer within 180 days.
When I first read MP is 60 days,I am surprised ,but then Ayden is a European company,cc rules may be different from US rules.
Europeans do not have many credit cards and I bet there are few chargebacks,I heard from some South African buyers,they said there is no such thing as chargeback> .
So it could be Ayden learns something new everyday.

It sounds like these reps do not know what they are talking about.
It is hard to keep up with all the rules.
IT Could also depends on why you are suspended,some items are considered high risk,like popular electronics (Iphone) comics,high end designer this and that and high end jewelry

Good to hear that
