Mc010-mc067-mc169 grrrrrrrr!!!!
So I started a local stealth account about a week ago with my name variation and a local mail box. (I have a few out of state stealths, but wanted a local one that I wasn't planning on disposing of.)
So, Friday I list about 8 listings. All legit stuff, no Vero. My old Instinct phone, computer parts, TV parts, etc. Saturday night or Sunday they put my listings on hold and give me a MC010(Verification). I"m thinking, OK..I will get to that. I've passed it before.
Today and yesterday I've been real busy with the day job thing and did not get to it till this evening.
HOLY CRAP! They aren't kidding about the "Contact us within 48 hours" are they? This morning they hit me with a MC067((Listings Canx) then followed it up with a MC169(Account Suspension).
Now I will have to fax in that stuff (DL, proof of address, etc) before they will lift the suspension? Or will they lift it if I go ahead and call? Any positive exp?
I'm wondering if since I haven't made a sale with that account yet, would it be better to just walk away from it and go to another one? It just sucks, as it wastes a good address and another savings account.
I searched these issues in the forums. I was just wondering if there is any new info. If you are johhny-on-the-spot calling back after the MC010, does it give you much better odds of not getting hit with the suspension where they want all your info?
And if you try to make an out-of-state stealth that is more solid, I just have a hard time with the thought of searching whitepages .com for real name and addres. That is too much like identity theft. (especially if you had to doctor up a picture id.)
Ok..I'm rambling...sorry. Long day working on other peoples computers.
