 IP Address Question on difference
I need help understanding the difference on ip address...
I went too: IP Address Locator - Enter an IP address to find its location - Lookup Country Region City etc to see what is my ip address and it gave me: 68.215.50.252. Now when I went into my computer and looked for my IP Address and it gave me: 192.168.0.150
I noticed some people tell you to change the ip address before opening a new account and when I reset my computer that ip address I look up in the computer does change: right now I have 192.168.0.150 and it changes to other numbers when I reset it...
But when I go to the ip locator website the ip address still is the same 68.215.50.252....I even gone to other ip locator website and its the same info: 68.215.50.252...
In one of my ebay accounts I had to change my email address and when I changed it, it said changed from ip address 68.215.50.252 not the one inside the computer...
So I am a bit confused on the difference between the one you check on your computer and the one that it shows on different website....
