Default Will This Work

I got my previous eBay account suspended for 12 months, and really just want to open up one new eBay account and one new PayPal account. I'd really like to keep it as legitimate as possible. Here is my plan, please let me know what you think:
1) Get new IP address and clear all cookies
2) Create new email address
2) create new eBay account with wifes name (previous account was under my name). Last name is pretty common.
3) Change address on my wife's charge card (never used on eBay or Paypal) to her work address (again never used on eBay or PayPal)
4) Create new PayPal account with same credit card as used for eBay.
5) Create new ING checking account
6) If asked, supply her Social Security number to Paypal
7) Start buying selling slowly.

Note, my Paypal account was not limited and is still active, but I was thinking that it would be risky to use my existing Paypal account with new eBay account....

Would appreciate it if you saw anything that I missed or didn't look good.
Thanks!

Looks good. Make sure the info you use to sign up is the same on both accounts. So if your going to use your wifes work address make sure thats the address you will use for all of it...

You might want to check the board about ING I have seen a couple posts about having probs w/ ING lately. But any checkings or savings account will do..

Only give that SS# as a last resort. I always say "I don't give that out I know you understand"..

Tip-For the email Gmail works perfectly.

Good Luck and Welcome to the forum

Default Thanks Lizard!

Do you know if eBay or PayPal gets suspicious if you use a PO Box when you register?

You'll have to register with a real address-but you can set it up w/ ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and add the PO Box later...Im not real savvy on the PO Boxes you might want to look at ebayhateluv's posts I think she has a few concerning this

A word of caution-try to hold out as long as you can before adding the PO Box, there will be a point where you will get limited, and you don't want to essentially waste it on a new/semi new account..

As the Lizard King says, welcome to the forum. ING is a good choice as it is
easy to use more than one account.
Just a quick question about no.4. is the paypal account going to be completely new and have no link at all to a previous ebay account? If there is a link you get suspended. You will work out your best approach soon.

Well i would suggest that you go to the nearest UPS store and open a mail box there. You get a Real address to use and no one will ever know. I WOULD not open a PayPal account PERIOD, Paypal loves to limit your account and never gives you your money for 6 months, i would suggest using GooglePay or 1st data, also i would just use your middle name or just change a letter or 2 in your last name ie: brewer could be spelled as bruer or frewer, Anderson could be spelled like andersen andurson, ETC.. this is a cat and mouse game with ebay and paypal. Its funny how now they wont let you select the "have own merchant account" until they have PROOF that you have a merchant account they want you to fax them proof that you have one but from my experience that is a threat to paypal so more that likely they would suspend you for not using paypal, to get around this when the auction ends just send the winner the payment link that you want them to pay from:D

Thanks all for you responses. I've got a new identity - now lets hope we can keep away from the "suspension Police".

GreenBean - I'm actually a systems engineer, probably worse than an accountant with things like this LOL!
