Default MC999 unusual activity

I get an email last night after posting a bin listing which a prospective buyer made an offer on two of my cards which I accepted so I combined them in one bin listing which he quickly bought and paid for. The email from ebay(and also found in my messages was MC999 unusual activity action required please contact customer service to confirm some information.

I cannot list anything right now and im wonder what to expect question wise from ebay. Anyone had a similar issue?

faxing in some info to ebay (credit card statement,id). Their asking for invoices but all my listings were for items I traded or bought at flea markets, will this be a big issue?

I believe it's an automated message .... Well no doubt it was. Ebay bots don't really know exactly why they are removing your listings. It's sort of a sick game ebay likes to play on new sellers, or especially new sellers.

Give them a call and tell them about your situation. Sometimes they'll drop the request for suppliers and asks solely for your ID instead.

Fax in what you can, it would not hurt if you were a little "creative'' with your receipts, the MAIN thing is to stay cool, you can work this out, MANY members here have

Well today I faxed in a cover letter with my username and full name along with an explanation of why I cannot send invoices, front & back scans of my id and credit card statement.

How long does it typically take to hear back from ebay and has anyone have success getting the account back after this?

Can be anything from several hours to days.

Some sellers have been successful.

Some have not.

Wait 3 days then ring them up - nothing to lose at this point
