eBay is NOT supposed to give out your credit card number to anyone.
I agree with everyone else, sounds like a scam, I would just delete any future emails without even opening them.

no i dont think it is a scam they have legit website and just visited that !! should i reply via email saying i didnot know that and that i will refrain from doing so plus there isnt any sale made ..?

Hi--Just my 2 cents...

My best friend had a situation with Vero a few months back. It made her SO nervous--and me too, just hearing the threats. Since this has indeed happened to someone very close to me recently, I would have to say this may very well be legit.

I do believe in your situation however that is indeed just a "threat" to deter you from further sales. From first hand watching my friend's experience, I would agree also, to just ignore it--absolutely DO NOT respond<< Even though you may feel compelled to. Especially, if there is "false" information attached to your account, there is virtually no way they can enforce anything. Ebay is by no means permitted to share your info. With my friends experience, the Vero member DID contact a few of her prior customers--got the info. from past auctions from the feedback, but ebay did not hand her info. over. Her real name and info. was on this Ebay acct. so it could easily be obtained. From the advice of members of this forum, she ignored all further emails from the Company and not too much has happened since--knock wood.

This stuff is way too hard to prove "intent". If you respond in ANY way, you may mistakenly admit guilt to something and then you may have given them something to go on. Absent a response, they have NOTHING--especailly without a sale....

Don't worry---Just trying to scare you. If nothing came out of her situation, nothing is going to come out of yours...Don't loose sleep, that's what they count on;)

When I do get back on eBay (IF I do), I want to sell these dvd box sets I have... Are these considered VeRo items??

I know that the bose earphones, and like tiffany jewelry are VeRo items, but are dvds?

yes, they are, because ebay will suspect that they are copies, i once put up a dvd set and used a stock photo of the dvd set and it got taken down.
Not a smart idea if your new.

i would just keep what your doing and ignore it, you havent done anything so dont worry.
as most people here said, its just a scare tactic to deter you from selling/distributing there products.

i didn't know they made ⊗⊗⊗⊗ bose headdphones until recently.

there no where near as good as real bose, practically like normal headphones or worse, theres heaps of sennisher ( cant spell it ) ones out too,

i have bose in-ear headphones the new ones, black and white wires, quality of sound is amazing.

lol yeah im sure they must be 1000 times better then a $20 pair of sony ones

yea they really are, im interested in buying bose speakers just for the quality.

The dvd box sets will get your suspends on Ebay fast. Umm I went like 1-2 months before my accounts go linked.. but that was my mistake. You could considerbly longer then 1-2 months before you get suspended, it will happen eventually.

Not true actually. I bought it a batch of Bose from china which I was told were genuine, and fell for it. The sound quality was identical to the genuine ones, as I have a pair myself. But when I got Bose to look at them, the drivers in them were ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

All of the Bose Triport earphones on ebay are ⊗⊗⊗⊗, if they are in cardboard boxes. The genuine ones come blister packed.

yea, i remember 6 months ago they were going for $80.00+ on ebay the one in cardboard boxes and now they barely hit $40.00-$50.00 because ebay is flooded with them

Yep, around chrismas time i was getting them for 20$ each, selling em on ebay for 65-75$ but now EVERYONE is getting in on it, and since my account got banned i finished with that...

but yes EVERY SINGLE pair on ebay is COMPLETELY ⊗⊗⊗⊗, except the 99.95$ ones from the powersellers.. those are the ONLY ones that are real on ebay.. lol

but yeah as for the quality on the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ones, the only difference i can tell between the real and ⊗⊗⊗⊗ is the bass. the real ones have an overwhelming bass level as the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ barely have any at all...
but for half the price, if i were a consumer id sacrifice some bass for 50 bucks

Bose have clamped down hugely on them, you'll have a job now selling more than 5 or so without loosing an account.

But yea profits were sky high on them.

Bose stepped it up on ebay, ive seen sellers's list 100's of bose in ear headphones the ones in the box, and then a month later when everyone was getting in on the action bose stepped it up and started knocking people down (the ones who were selling the ⊗⊗⊗⊗)

On new clothes , with tags, I have been putting a copy of the receipt in the ad.. so far ok... going very SLOWLY.

yeah i use to stare at my computer and wonder back when i was having trouble, i agree waste of time. better to use that time trying to get around and it and make more money :)
