Newly suspended and need help
 

Hi I am new to the forum(from thailand), and about 2 days back i got a MC011 from ebay stating nothing and just ask me to read the terms and appeal.

they are not going to reply my email I assume.

I been thru 4 months of **** before i can eventually sell more items and category limited lifted. With 8 hours of Category limit lifted i get MC011.

Anyone can help me with this on advice or I don't mind buying another account to avoid the start up limit ****.

problem with the links here is everyone have something stated to be clear by ebay , like invoice proof or tracking number .

but for me is totally nothing

What credit card provider did you use during the verification of the suspended account?

Probably want to remove your account name when posting official eB emails on these public forums.

....Assuming that's your account name. If you already changed it, then you're ahead of the game :)

Until now I am not sure if the account is suspended, is there a different between Limited and Suspended?

the account is Still Selling, just can't add new listing at all and cannot renew.

Everything in this account is real, Bank account,Credit card, address and the paypal account is Business account which have been around for a long long time.

Basically only the Ebay is Limited now, paypal is still working as usual as my paypal have higher transaction $$ than the ebay account.

I am kind of confuse now, some say Limited means Suspend, but some say Limited means you can get back the account once ebay decide that you are ok.

any advice is greatly appreciated

ebay is junk, they ban your account for no reason.

if you need new account, go buy some from the sellers here. make sure you have 5-10 as backup

but you should also try selling on amazon, ioffer, bonanza.com, etc...

I am thinking of making a few more and also buying a few, but I am in Thailand, will that be ok to buy and use a US account.
you think its ok?

I will also be trying to sell on ioffer and amazon soon.

No reason to be confused there.

Limited usually refers to Paypal account - you try and resolve your PP issues so that you get reinstated.

Suspended usually refers to eB - when you are suspended, you can try to get the eB account reinstated...if you can't, then the account is banned. eB can decide that you are ok after you resolve the suspension.

You have to take care of IPs to access amazon and new ebay/paypal accounts.

You have to have bank accounts and access to addresses.

Problem is my Paypal is not suspended or limited at all.
only my ebay account is limited as inform by ebay

well if it is in Thailand, i have not problem on IPs, I can reset ip on router and i do have 2 mobile 3g network standing by, i am not sure if it is ok that a US ebay account is access via thai ip

Lol Ok i will let everyone know what card is it,
It is Kasikornbank Thailand because i am in Thailand and operate in Thailand,it is one the big local bank here, just like how everyone goes to a bank put money in and open a bank account and also apply for a credit card from the bank at the same time, so all must be done in person with all statement.

I am sure it has nothing to do with the bank or the bank card at all.
Because all information i use with bank is real and even biz registration. but my problem is ebay, they not listen they not want to know. i inform them of the items i sell is legal. they just ask me check email and reply email, but email have no reply link at all as it is send from no-reply@ebay.com.

so ask me to contact some company who cliam copyright on me. I email and i called that company and the company have no idea what the hell i am talking about.

It sounds like ebay restricted your selling until they review invoices of every product u ever listed.

I received that exact email you have but also was on the phone with a rep who told me to send the invoices in. I'd call in

Seller feedback is based on feedback you get for selling.

Buyer feedback helps get some credibility on eBay - good for getting before selling (just as a general guideline).

That's why you would low end items that are cheap and ship quickly - buyers would leave you good seller feedback

after weeks of scratching my Head and seeking for a answer "what happen when eBay account is Limited"

Basically eBay never ask anything from me, or want me to do anything.
eBay send me a MC011 with nothing to reply with and nothing to correct or send to them.

This is what I learn:-

eBay (Communism system)
for sellers
- either you do it their way or you can get lost
- their decision is final
- they don't need to listen to you
- they do what they want (nothing you can do about it)
- they don't care even you have a family to feed.
- Even if everything is legal and right, they still do what they deem.

Get eBay Stealth and learn
- Selling is nothing when you are not in Control
- Get the control in your hands
- Use the right method to counter issues
- Do it slow and steady with patience
- Do it in huge quantity as just one is never possible
- Seek help from the forum, learn and grow
- Many other channel to grow your selling career online.

As my Mc011 time gets longer and longer....

I have already learn to move on and do as Stealth teaches.
one day i will get back that account...
But for now
Time will be better used and do as Stealth have taught

Start new, Start Many, Start Control, Start with a System, Start Anywhere, Start EveryWhere and Start Being Stealth.

You can do all this by getting the eBay Stealth and learn.

eBay does not allow Kasikornbank or Bangkok Bank cards being used to register or even update accounts anymore. It has been like that for at least 1 year, which is why I asked you what card you had used. So, there's the reason for your suspension.

Umm I have no idea where you get that information from, but thanks for letting me know.

Here is my explaination why its not possible.

1) Bangkok Bank, Kasikorn Bank are international Standard bank with Branches in SEA countries.
Out of so many banks in Thailand they are consider one of the few that have actual industry standard online web security.

SCB just had problems with their online security and currently they need OTP for every single movement in online accounts, that is including even checking your account number hide or not hide 1st 5 digit. Its like a simple top of your phone number of maybe 50 baht/$1.7usd they will need a OTP (crazy in my theory as other above only require otp if you are doing anything above $5usd)


2) Paypal head office is located in Singapore and BBK have branches there which not many Thai bank have the ability to get such Banking licence to operate in Singapore.

3) Ebay have joint venture with Singapore counter part and thus Singapore was their main Head Office for SEA region. They are trying to expand from SEA region and grow into China Base using a Different name. How i know? look at Asia newspaper under Finance section for the last few years starting from year 2007

4) I already have operating stealth accounts running using the banks above and had already verify all details without a problem.

5) My Problem account was being reinstated right after i wrote the above post, I manage to sweet talk till i got a reason on why.
I listed 1 item for sale and was sold out in a few hours and auto relisted few more time and that is all within 24 hours, thus a sudden spark in my sales within 24 hours is the trigger for MC011.

Guess that is something I need to take note of.

not sure if this is the area i need to ask this but here it goes..... got kicked off ebay read stealth book and reread and though i did everything correctly. scared to death i would do something wrong it took me days of re reading before I actually had the nerve to actually "pull the trigger" and open an ebay an pp account. I did and listed my 4 items. went to check on them and they have taken everything off!!! I am about to cry.... don't know what to do.... I was doing around 1k a week and I have been out of commission now for about 2 weeks. Can someone tell me the most common mistakes so i can maybe avoid whatever i did wrong this time. should i contact ebay? will they tell me how they linked me?

Welcome to the forums tmac.

Tough to hear about your issue but many of us have had this issue....without knowing what your items are and what issues eB is hitting you with, members cant be expected to give generalizations.

You have a LOT of reading ahead of you - the guide explains well how to avoid the link so...best first move to get it.

Well, you seem to have it all figured out then. I just tried to help. eBay has blocked Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn Bank cards because their ATM cards can be used like credit cards. eBay doesn't like that. They want you to use actual credit cards. Why I know that? I know a person that works for eBay Thailand in customer service. No matter what the eBay agent told you about MC011, you were not suspended because you listed one too many items. The MC011 suspension is about the card you used, even if you didn't change the card details for weeks or months prior to the suspension. eBay is going through currently registered accounts with those card ranges and will suspend them sooner or later. If they re-activated you, then you got lucky, but it probably won't happen with future accounts.

that's why I say thanks before I explain myself.

bank ATM card can be use as credit card only if the bank have debit system
and in Singapore all cards can be use as debit, the only difference is credit give u a credit limit but debit is usable when account have cash. And this is a standard card feature, unless those banks are way behind times.

And ebay I use paypal, have nothing to do with credit cards or debit cards?

Cause I been directed to Singapore office as the care center for sea ebay region.

And I still 1bank 1card 1 account 1selling..

The explanations is just for understanding and knowledge..
Nothing personal, I need help I ask and I thank you too.
But sometime I will correct facts and add details..

Bbl n kasik have about 70% of thai populations using.. its like banning POSB of Singapore who also use card as debit card. That's why I suggest it could not be possible.

You think eBay cares about that?

BBL and Kasikorn ATM and virtual cards, except for real credit cards issued by those banks, are banned by eBay since early 2012. You can call and ask eBay Thailand if you want to. There are even posts in the official eBay Thailand forums in regards to this.

Everyone using those cards will get suspended sooner or later, 95% of them within minutes of registering.

You came here asking why you were suspended and I told you. Whether you believe it or not, it's up to you.

yes of cos they care about, no company will go into a country to do biz when they don't use the right financial company for banking.
well i am sure some get ban, but mainly because of what they are doing, like cancel and change virtual card but with the same or half same name and same bank account link, those are basically seeking problems, becuase they should have just go and change their whole name on ID card, and then do it again.
There is tons of fraud in Thailand, so its not a surprise to know.
But to state a specific big bank being 100% banned from a company that require finance company support is probably a very big cliam.
and i didn't expect this discussion will become a discussion about real banks,
what about those USA virtual cards? anyone everyone can apply, and ebay didn't know? basically virtual card company can keep changing and get support from banks, but Banks are the main source of funds movement in a country. So to restrict certain kind of transaction is possible but to ban on a bank totally on all the cards except credit cards with credit terms is basically way big a issue for K bank to keep quiet and not take any steps against ebay for creating a defamation damage or a valid commercial crime law charter.

The page in your link above is from 2010, back when KBank was an eBay partner and before they were blocked.

Go ahead and try to register an eBay account with a KBank card and let me 48 hours afterwards how it turned out. Don't take my word for it, try it out yourself.

ya that page was in 2010 as they never bother updating main page of Ebay in SEA cuase not enough SEA seller support.

and I did tell you that I already had Kbank card with ebay account and its definitely more then 30 days or 60days. so I already tried and proven ebay does not banned a International Bank.
