Default unfair block of account

recently i started to work as seller, before it had rating of buyer. after 2 months of selling, made about 50 order, all with positive feedback.

i was blocked and they asked for invoices. after showing invoices, they told me that my supplier is not authorized by brand. Then, my supplier provided me Official signed letter by brand's owner and president that my supplier is official distributor, eBay 1 week did not send me any reply, and after it, sating that "i am a risk to eBay and community", totally ignoring brand statement of my supplier.

without any reason blocking sellers (business not private).

i think they protect top sellers and eliminating competitors in this way, since my pricing were lowest in my field.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

ebay ALWAYS has a reason.

It is the sellers who never understand them.

either learn to beat ebay or sell elsewhere AND know what you are doing.

Welcome to the forums.

Analyze your situation OP for make your decisions - either way, only way to get back on selling is to go stealth - dont re-use info.

All the best.

At this point your account is probably done, I usually dont call ebay all that often but you probably dont have much to lose at this point. You can call them and if the initial person doesnt help then you can ask for a supervisor. It may or may not help, but if your account is in this place.

rsot - for making stable business it is impossible to use stealth methods, managing too much accounts require from you too much resource, and finally you will make some mistake.

i wouldn't expect such behavior from corporation like eBay. if you feel that seller unsafe or a risk to eBay, so don't give him selling limit. But if you gave him, be good and don't disturb to sell.

in any newspapers, non of eBay manager's didn't explained their behavior?
today i think, because i opened additional account with different name, i did it to sell absolutely another brand. i think it is the reason. so why don't just say to me, you violated rule of opening 2 accounts? why they inventing reason that my supplier is not authorized.

i suggest to make collective strike , "one day per year do not buy from ebay" :-)

ebay have no need to explain their ways.

Either learn to use them or trade elsewhere.

It is that simple.

Really? Explain that to Greenie, Sandy D, MM78, and others who post here with their SUCCESSES with stealth...they operate really well, great profits, good business, and (above all) mistake-free.

Doesnt take a lot of resource - takes diligence and dedication...and knowledge.

eBay will never go into the SPECIFICS of why an account is suspended. If they did, they would be giving you a road map of how to get around it in the future.

From your first post, my guess would be that your supplier is NOT authorized by the brand owner. I understand your supplier gave you a letter showing they are authorized. I would suggest calling the brand owner and checking to make sure that is the case. My guess is that you would be in for a surprise.

In a follow-up post, you said you started 2 other accounts, which is against eBay's rules. You have to use stealth if you want multiple accounts to survive.

STEALTH CREATES BUSINESS STABILITY! In the online world, having only ONE account or venue to sell on is just as bad as having only ONE customer for your business. Yes, that makes it nice and convenient, but if you ever lose that account or customer, you are out of business.

Of course it depends on the user, but many of us have more than 10 accounts and some more than 50. If ONE account gets shut down, we are still up and operating. Using your business methods, we would all be out of business.

Stealth DOES take more time and utilizes more resources than operating in the normal manner, but that is just the cost of doing business. If we were in a real-world shopping mall, there would be rent to pay, plus employees, plus the mall owner would want a part of the profits, plus there would be all kinds of local taxes and fees to pay.

Almost without exception, every user from Israel makes these claims.

We repeat the story to them.

YOU need to learn to use ebay correctly.

ebay wants the right way, NOT your way.

If you have certain items then you need to have the full permission of the rights holder to sell them anywhere.

Just because you have a supplier who happily takes your money does not give you the OK to sell on ebay.

One for the road.

Stop making it personal that ebay is doing 'things' you dislike. ebay is a business. Emotions do not exist.

ebay makes the rules.

Learn them.

Just to add... Whoever said life was fair?

Is it fair that one child is born into a wealthy family and will have the best of everything, never having to work a day in their lives while another child is born where there is little food and no medical care?

Is it fair that some people are born with a disability, making their life more difficult than the lives of others? That some are smarter than others? Better looking? More outgoing?

If you want to see how the world works, just go to the news section of Google. You can browse millions of examples of how life is not fair.

Nothing wrong to call them up visitorebay if you are aiming for last push - make new accounts though if you are up to more eB selling.

eB does whatever it wants to preserve security

Well said Jeff.

Ebay does unfair things to everyone, not just you OP.

We have all learned to deal with the way they operate.

It is their business and we use their website to make money so we need to adjust to their ways.

I will just keep adjusting to their changes and wont allow them to defeat me.

Suggest you plan ahead and do the same.
